Under the radar part of this: Billy not thanking John Paxson. Should alleviate any worries that his voice carries any merit anymore.

Is it really necessary to pick up that many weapons?

He is is playing Warzone which is COD's battle royal mode so yes you will be constantly looking to upgrade or swap weapons.

Also why the Hell is he streaming on Facebook gaming? I would watch him on Twitch or YouTube. Not like he needs views to pay the bills though

I would think he got an exclusive deal to stream there.

If not, big yikes from Lavine.

My friend is trying to get into game streaming (warzone actually). He said youtube/twitch is too saturated. He's streaming on fb gaming too

i dunno how much adding a 35-year-old guard who's gonna make $41 and $44 million the next two years "jump-starts a rebuild" lol

chris paul is still good (if he can stay healthy). and i get the appeal of adding a legit point guard to have a better sense of how good our other guys are, and of pushing for the playoffs to make our team more appealing to outsiders. but. we are absolutely not in a position where we should be giving more than 1/3rd of the cap to a 35 year old. what's the next move after that?

You should know, because we all just witnessed what he did for OKC's rebuild. In my mind, he either makes LaVine, Lauri, Carter, Porter, and White better or he artificially raises their value. The next move, would be to internally grow next season and either trade Porter or ride this roster for two years with Paul steering the ship. If we're able to be a playoff team over that two-year span, then I think that propels us into free-agency in a great way when Paul expires.

Can the mods sticky a free agency thread? We have a covid thread, a draft thread, a trade thread, I think a free agency thread makes sense. Especially now with AK and Billy on board, I think our recruiting possibilities have grown

FB gaming is off-putting because you have to use your FB account to post.

Surprised they haven't changed that.

I would love to see Noah comeback next season, and then retire into a assistant coach role the following.

Would want Rose, Noah back bc of Donovan and def CP3 as well. That way the Bulls dont ever have to worry about drafting a pg and can teach White, Lavine to not be dumb. Donovan and CP3 is match made in heaven you need to pull the trigger for otto, sato. plz get rid of all the garpax hires in Dunn, Felicio, Arci etc. Theres like 20mil in cap space being wasted and 5+ roster spots.
Oh man Lauri is going to have a breakout yr close to an all star he could be a star here or be traded in a superstar package.

Donovan will def make this team playoff caliber while adding some nba talent. max fas will be interested in a top 3 market that makes playoffs and Bulls can easily land 1-2 big fish. Having CP3 helps get AD bc he still plays at high level and he can just sign retire a Bull with Rose once his 40mil contract expires.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

1. okc is immediately pivoting to trading cp3 away because they rehabbed his value. they didn't trade for him to "help their rebuild"; they took him on because they got a bunch of draft picks and dumped another bad contract. we'd be buying high on a 35 year old with $85 million still due to him

2. i dunno how much free agents care about joining a team that earned, like, the 7th seed on the back of chris paul when the only reason we have cap space is because chris paul is leaving

3. when chris paul expires, lauri will be on his second contract and lavine/wendell will be free agents. the timeline doesn't really make a ton of sense to try to elevate this roster and then make a big free agent splash?

Are the Bulls even allowed to hire a guy who has no ties to either Iowa State of Popovich?

Two thumbs up, AKME.
