Eric Bledsoe to NYK

Patty Mills to MKE

We'll do much better than that. Knicks are going to cut Payton anyway, he's not guaranteed, like most of their roster.

Mills is a good player on an expiring deal. I’m not sure we get much better than that.

Mills is a role player off the bench and an expiring contract doesn't really help us. I would be extremely disappointed if this is the best we can do.

Found this from a few years back

“They already traded one future first-round pick for Bledsoe. The Bucks and Hawks discussed a similar deal for Dennis Schroeder before Bledsoe became available, according to several league sources.”

If this is from a few years ago, that would have been Hammond/Kidd wouldn't it? I still wouldn't be super surprised if Schroder is the guy but this doesn't seem like a connection to me.

Horst made that trade.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Maybe add some 1sts + Fillers +Hill +Rolo + Donte and keep both ... they are both 3p snipers and Fournier has some playmaking skills too.

I'd do the CP3 one in a heartbeat. I'd probably do the Bjelica one depending on which 2nd round pick is included. If it's #35, definite yes. #43 probably still a yes but a bit more painful. #52...I don't know. Might still be a yes but giving up the 1st hurts pretty bad in that scenario for me.

The Middleton-Jrue one is horrendous and the Lou one is somewhat believable but I'd strongly prefer not to do it.

Agreed, the Middleton deal is awful. Jrue is a great player, but just isn't a good fit here, and it's almost impossible to replace SFs.

I'd do 2 and 4, and given the players going out, you could actually execute both. Sure, you become weaker at SF, but the backcourt becomes significantly better with CP3, Holiday and Redick. Better shooting, better passing, smarter and at least equal defense.Plus, they keep #24 in these scenarios, which you could use on Terry or best available wing.

Don't think it's that hard to find a 3&D wing to replace Mids. Bring back Wes at a low number, possibly Justin Holiday at a reasonable number, pick at #24, and come playoff time, drop Jrue down to SF and run a CP3/Redick/Jrue/Giannis/Brook crunch time lineup. That's a lineup that can close out games.

I think Popovich may have improved him ... I need to see more
He averaged 5.6 assists per game this season same as Giannis ... :o With less Turnovers 2.4 vs Giannis 3.7
18-19 Season he averaged 6.2 assists per game ... hmm are we sleeping on this fella ?
And he goes to the line alot 6.6 FTA making 5.6 , 84.5 FT% vs Giannis making 6.3 Fts on 10 FTA 63.3 FT% ...

Unless we get a different coach and a different system, Derozan is a bad fit. Like if Khris couldn't shoot 3's and was worse at defense.

I am bought on DeRozan. We don't even need another coach.
We really Bud to get his a** down and make game plans with DeRozan as our primary playmaker at the 4th quarter along with Khris.
Having Giannis playmaking alot early and the pass the torch to Khris and DeRozan to be our closer at the 4th quarter.
Khris 90% FT and DeRozan 86% FT should get the ball late to close games.
No Team in the East can stop this Big 3.
The best thing Bud can do is call Popovich for DeRozan and try to get White in the deal too.
Then just prepare the team for the playoffs , study and game plan against Heat and Boston.

Preaching playoff performing shooters and diverting to DeMar DeRozan is only a story arc that you could write.

He has changed, more mature, more playmaking... and will have Giannis and Khris with him

There is not a darling we can get and all love out with our assets.
Finding the best player we can get for Bledsoe+fillers+ picks.
DeRozan is at the top tier players we can get.
Getting White in that deal would mean alot for our backcourt, nobody can dispute it.

Changed since when exactly? His numbers in San Antonio are basically identical to his last year in Toronto. The only difference is he's completely given up on shooting 3's now and his on-off splits have gotten even worse.

Anyway, Dragan Bender signed a short term deal to play overseas and return in December. Wouldn’t mind using the LLE on him when he’s ready to return. I’d rather have him over RoLo especially come playoff time.

White would cost more assets than DeRozan. Unless he was basically a needed salary filler to get a good, young player like White there is not a chance in hell we should be using our assets on Compton Maggette.

Would love to have Dragan once again. I'd need at least 2 years of cheap control to feel good handing him a contract over other young bigs but his passing from the top of the key could be an element to break down defenses if we're only doing minor changes.

I also remain on the Dragan bandwagon.

Would you guys consider Donte or #24 more valuable?

Dragan should spend a few hours each morning watching video of Jokic and then a few hours each afternoon putting the lessons learned to use in the gym.

And it's not close imo. Donte probably fetches a late lottery 1st in this year's draft.

That’s who I would have too, just wondering what the general consensus was.

If we’re looking at CP3 or Dennis, could we consider both?

In: CP3/Schroeder
Out: Bled/Hill/Ersan/DJ/#24/Future 2nd

Leaves you with:
CP3/Schroeder
Wes/Donte
Khris/FA
Giannis/FA
Brook/Robin

New to messing around with the trade machines so don’t be too brutal
Who could we realistically target in FA? Gallo, Grant or Crowder maybe?

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
