I think we'll begin starting our best SG, which will make the position look much stronger. Donte will have a big year.

I predict Big bricks incoming .... I've seen so many times X Player will improve next season , he will have a break out year... it almost never happens

The latest disappointment is Eric Bledsoe, who actually shot the 3 better that Donte and Pat so **** optimism and homerism. The odds are X player will suck again

Jalen Brunson is a guy I'd kick the tires on this offseason. Could see him establishing himself like a Monte Morris guy who raises his value next season and isn't so available.

Yea, I said that. Still wouldn't want him to be a core rotational piece.

Eh, all the metrics paint him as being fine on the defensive end and he keeps himself in great shape. He's still a floor-tilting presence with his off-ball gravity and still arguably the best catch & shoot guy in the league. Donte will play plenty, and I wouldn't rule out Bud giving him the "starting" SG spot, at least in title, anyways. Slide Redick down to SF when you go small.

Yea, this just doesn't interest me much at all.

JJ Redick is exactly the type of player I’m hoping the Bucks steer clear of.

Players are generally better in their prime years than their first few seasons. It's simple history.

Unfortunately, Jalen just had shoulder surgery, which is usually a precursor to a down year.

I'll take that risk. "Just" was 6 months ago and we might be looking at 3 more before we see a game, plenty of time to rehab.

Players have poor shooting years after shoulder surgery. Too much muscle memory lost.

After they lost Brunson, they added Trey Burke, and he was a surprising upgrade. He's a FA worth considering.

Some of the names being tossed around are depressing lol. This organization will be the death of me.

I mean Paul George just had the best shooting season of his career after that same surgery.

My musing on watching 30 years of nba basketball: winning in the playoffs requires at least one three level scorer (3 ball increasing importance over time) who can also pass the ball to facilitate for others. Doesn’t really matter if they are a PG (Billups, Steph) SG (MJ, Kobe, Wade) SF (Lebron, Pippen) PF (Dirk, Duncan) sixth man (Manu), whatever. Just a guy Who can get a bucket anywhere on the court and make the right pass if needed.

That said, get me jrue holiday.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Trey Burke can make some shots, but he's soooo bad defensively - no.

Still think the guy to get right now is Buddy Hield. Donte/pick and fillers probably gets that done. He's not a decision maker, but realistically no guy we can actually acquire is going to be good enough to justify running the offense through and letting make all the big choices (lol at people thinking Patty Mills or Fournier is gonna do much for us). To have a chance at winning anything Giannis will HAVE to improve. Might as well surround him with a ridiculous shooter who can help the offense out substantially.

I love Donte and his energy, defense, and all around ability to make little plays on both ends, but I think people expecting him to become a consistent offensive player are gonna be super disappointed. He can't gather off the dribble for crap.

I don't have tremendous confidence that we'll improve this offseason but I trust the organization enough to have faith that they won't go after guys like DeRozan or Mills.

Yeah Bledsoe seems like a typical Pop guy for sure.

I highly doubt a deal for Buddy requires Donte.

I think the odds are very high that Cedi Osman will be better than the #24 pick. Think there's a good chance Cleveland would move him for the pick and Ersan/Wilson's expiring. Cedi's locked into a reasonable, declining contract for the next four years with a team option on the last. Could play backup three and small ball four. Think he's good enough to be in a playoff rotation. In a perfect world you'd probably want more for the pick but it's such a safe bet Osman provides more value.
