My ever evolving offseason:

Brook and Hill for Jrue Holiday - they need a shot blocker and floor spacing For Zion - both guys theoretically help out.

Bledsoe for Joe Ingles - they need point of attach defense for Jamal Murray doesn’t drop 50 on them. Bojan slides into Jingles role.

Rolo, DJ, Indy seconds for Cedi Osman

Sign suns big Aaron Baynes

Draft big who can switch on defense

Holiday
Middleton
Jingles
Giannis
Baynes

DDV
Osman
Backup big (rookie or otherwise)

Fill out roster with vet minimum guys. Wes returning would be great.

Run smaller with a lot of lineups with Giannis at 5 and jingles/mids/Osman at 4
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

soxperry wrote:funny to see all these trades that are centered around the idea of "How do we get CP3, Schroder, and Gallo? Now THAT would be a team!"

Except that team already exists and they also have SGA.

If you truly love something, set it free.

Giannis for Adams is a salary match, and then it just comes down to a massive pile of draft picks which they are well equipped to dish out. Another small market for Giannis to avoid the press. Maybe some of us could even make the move and grab season tix.

I just dont see any feasible trade that truly moves a needle for us. Sorry.

Is this a joke? You want to trade Giannis and your best idea for what we get is Steven Adams and picks?

I am fine with trading Giannis actually, one of few here who probably is. But it'd have to be something like a Boston deal around Tatum and Brown. If it was the Thunder, SGA would have to be a part of it along with the pile of picks.

Our Mr Cap Expert should have cleared Larry Sanders dead cap salary. We didn't even ask the League to clear him, show them the evidence that he had personal psycological problems etc.
I mean the Heat cleared Chris Bosh's massive contract ... cause of health issues ...
how come that doesn't apply for Sanders' mental health issues too ?
I honestly believe that Bucks Org is incompetent at all levels
I mean 5 or more years ago Bucks said " We Own The Future " ...
and made 2 good moves (Bud+Brook) and about 40 trash moves that are about to expire "Our Future"

PS add about 100 non moves cause the GM's phone is glued and we love *****ng continuity

Not convinced of this one myself, but: Conley + Ingles for Bledsoe, Ersan, Rolo, DJ, Hill, future 1st

We upgrade shooting and creation, and Conley is still a functional defender. I think Utah might do this without the Indy pick. Bled fits decently for them, and they can make use of the added depth with all of their FAs.

I'd rather give up #24 over a future pick. Also we really should be keeping Hill if possible.

I like Hill, but he's getting older and I don't think we can do much involving large dollar amounts without his salary.

It has to be a career ender determined by a league-appointed physician to get the kind of relief you're talking about. I don't think oppositional defiant disorder would qualify.

I think we ended up pretty darn close to best case scenario for the Sanders fiasco. He could’ve easily showed up and loafed and collected checks.

I agree. I just wish we would have given him his money when we were ****. It was a wide window! No need to stretch.

In any case, we should have filed our case. Even request a new rule , or add this case on reliefs.
I mean Sanders quit basketball and starts singing and became an artist ... if there is no rule, request to fix one,
its common sense ... I mean its fair to get a 2 year dead cap but then it should be erased.

He came back and played again. He just wasn't good enough to stick on a roster.

If westbrook is available would this board want the bucks to trade for him.
Hes that more athletic guy you need just curious on the thoughts.
You might be able to get him for less than paul

I'd rather have Bledsoe straight up than Westbrook.

Wow you think that little of westbrook who got close to winning MVP i would think a triple double guy would be just what the bucks needed

He can't shoot. What Houston did going small was to free the pain up for RW. He basically played like Giannis but 6 inches shorter, and he was good at it. But putting them together is a bad idea overall as they are both at the rim. If you ball screen them together the D can just sag under both and dare them to shoot.

Then factor in his monster contract and it's hard pass for me.

Yes, he’s definitely a better passer and rebounder than Bledsoe, but he’s mostly bad defensively, a worse finisher at the rim, and horrifyingly bad shooting the ball. If Houston would include a couple first round picks I might consider a swap but otherwise no thanks.

This is the main reason. I think Houston was on to something playing him at the 4. But like you said, we already have that guy, and ours is a lot better.

And a hale and hearty lol at anyone who argued that Houston won that trade.
