Still some people are complaining... yes he has missed jumpers. It's not like he hasn't been a factor scoring wise.

He has played well (all things considered), but his play is not encouraging.

I am starting to feel like this is his last good shot at a championship. He is looking really old of late.

He'll be fine.

Gutsy, gutsy win. Super ugly, but winning these type of games make champions.

If it is... that's fine. It all depends on who the Lakers can hire. You give him floor space and he'll be dangerous, even if for short periods of time when Davis is on the bench.

Yes he looks old. He has played less minutes, but he looks tired at times. He's not a consistent jumpshooter, but when they are all short it usually means a player is lacking strenght in the legs, or not doing the motion correctly.

Well, eventually father time will knock him down. Still he has had a great career and a ton of longevity, so there is nothing left to see from him when it happens. What a ride it's been!

Hate to say it but this game does feel like the refs helped them more than other wins doesn't it.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Also - I love how just a week ago or so people were saying that if he does, it'll be the easiest ring LeBron would've won.

Also LeBron seems SEVERLY affected by the ruling. It's unrelated, but after the game, there was no sigh of relief from him after this game.

This board is rather gloom and doom this entire playoff run regarding Lebron. Some of you guys need to have more faith in Lebron and AD haha.

Lakers play a more traditional basketball type than we see nowadays. Yes, many times it's gonna be ugly.

Glad to see LeBron putting a ton of effort on defense. He's earned a bad reputation in that regard (and rightfully so at times) since 2014. He's been a monster here and there, he's found himself in bad defensive teams where even if he put a ton of effort it would feel useless, and he's been very bad at times too and conserved a ton of energy on that side of the court.

Vogel has to been given some credit for making LeBron sacrifice minutes and maybe some offense to keep him foccused on defense. Defense is definitely the identity of this squad.

Tough grind it out win. Good stuff. And clearly that free throw case worked well. Nice adjustments in general.

5 wins to go!

Yes refs were giving LBJ calls. The calls he hasn't had for a long time now.

Well played by the Lakers: complaining at the right time. They could have complained a lot earlier but didn't and now it showed up when the team needed the most. It's not pretty, but it's well done.

Lakers didn't play particularly well but I'll take it.

You're eventually gonna run into a mud fight in the post-season, feasting on the boards and getting 2nd chance points saved us.

Given this board thought they'd win 48 games max, they should at least be happy they made it this far

It might be. I see no team out there as dangerous as 2012 OKC, 2013 Spurs or the 2016 Warriors.

The effort on the boards and the 2nd chance points saved the Lakers.

Denver deserves to lose if Jokic can't get it going as well.

It's the duality of being a Bron fan man. You have utter faith that at any moment, he can completely dominate every possession on both ends with his GOAT level ability and motor. So when he falls short of that, you (unnecessarily) worry and overreact.

Obviously REALLY ugly win from them, but they got the job done through their offensive rebounding (and, in the end, their D). It's a classic Ferguson United win - they just played well enough, especially in squeaky bum time. The hallmark of what championship runs are made of.

As for LeBron: On O, he took what the defense was giving him (even though they all bricked), fought his way to the line (a couple of times just punishing bad IQ by Denver defenders to get a couple of cheap fouls), and when the game was in the balance, switched onto Murray and helped stop him as they built a small lead.

Overall pretty solid game for him

It's amazing how many games Danny Green rates out so well in +/- Lead the team tonight at +12. As much crap as he gets and as poorly as he has been shooting, his defense is low-key still solid and teams still respect his shooting threat.

It's weird man. Denver barely led this game and you'd never know from reading the thread.

In a desperation situation like Denver are now I'd actually let Green shoot em. He might get hot but well... it's a desperation gamble.

His defense has been very solid yes.

Tbf, there was some serious cause for concern at a lot of points. Denver just wasn't going away - but Lakers were equal to the task and didn't go away either
