Wasn't one of their justifications for hiring Brand with zero experience was that he would appeal to free agents as a former player? That worked out just great.

I mean, the only way we're getting Harden is if we trade Ben or Joel. For the sake of D'Antoni's offense, Joel makes more sense since he gets exhausted easily. However, putting Harden on the ball full time would just turn Ben into Clint Capela.
I do think Joel and Harden would be an absurd duo though.

I mean it’s all fun and games until we trade Al, Tiise, Shake, Zaire, Scott, 2 firsts, and 2 pick swaps for Harden and Gordon

I love KAT, but is he even known for running up and down the court all game?

On a serious note, what would you trade them for KAT? I'm not giving them Embiid straight up and it doesn't make any sense to get rid of Simmons in the deal since he and KAT would want to play together.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread 2019-2020 Post Season
I think it would require 3 teams because if KAT were to leave MIN, so would Embiid. What if GSW was involved?
GSW out: Wiggins, Green, #2, 2021 MIN 1st, 2022 GSW 1st
GSW in: Embiid, Harris
MIN out: Towns, Russell
MIN in: Wiggins, Green, #2, MIN 2021 1st, GSW 2022 1st
PHI out: Embiid, Harris
PHI in: Towns, Russell
Russell(32)/Milton(16)
Richardson(32)/Burks(16)
Thybulle(28)/Korkmaz(16)/Burks(4)
Simmons(34)/Horford(14)
Towns(34)/Horford(14)
Russell/Milton/Micic
Richardson/Burks/#36
Thybulle/Korkmaz/#21
Simmons/#34
Towns/Horford/Pelle

Sounds like Ben is trying to facilitate a Jo for KAT trade

Same.
And if KAT is gone, this means DLo is available or it’s value should be lower.

I’m sure any rebuilding team would want a star bigman to compliment a young team thru mentorship.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread 2019-2020 Post Season
Wouldn't surprise me if the organization is done with Joel, going to hire MDA, and try to trade Joel and Tobias for DLo and KAT.
Minny would be stupid to do it, and I highly doubt they would.
But if Ben is interested in playing with his 2 buddies, and doing it in an MDA system, and the Sixers think the best way they can realistically get out of Tobias contract is to attach Joel to it...

I'd trade Horford for KAT in a heartbeat.

Sixers have to add at least a Richardson for James Johnson’s expiring swap, and probably also a future first, to get that done. But if Ben and KAT and DLo have come to this determination to play together in Philly under Pringles, then they can likely force Minny’s hand.
I would be against that trade, while also realizing it could be a lot worse.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread 2019-2020 Post Season
I love Embiid but I'd probably have to accept Towns + D'Lo for Embiid + Tobias. No way I'm adding though.
PG Russell
SG JRich
SF Simmons
PF Towns
CE Horford
Just the fact of putting Simmons, D'Lo and Towns together on the same team also lessens the risk of ever losing one of them since they want to play together.

It sounds like Embiid is being consulted on all decisions rather than ushered out.
