Off course Lebron want his credit for guarding Murray late.

Nugs have the Lakers right where they want them...3-1

10% chance. Herro's offensive game is light years ahead of RJ. It isn't even close. He's also doing it against desperate playoff defense and not the Wizards on Tuesday night. Herro is playing average NBA defense and isn't awful there and will likely get stronger as most 20 year old do.
RJ's only above average NBA skill right now is effort. Which is certainly a great start. If you wouldn't swap him for the following other 2020 rookies right now you are nuts.
Ja obviously
Zion
Herro
MPJr
these are all trades I'd make but you aren't nuts for saying no and believing RJ will learn to shoot at an average level
Brandon Clarke
Coby White
And one is on a playoff team where he has plenty of space to work with and us coming off the bench. But sure Isaiah keep trying to avoid doing the work of developing players and wish for other teams rooks based off one great playoff game
One game? Have you watched the playoffs?
https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/tyler-herro-1.html
No thanks Vlade, I'll just look at what they did in college and assume bad shooting is bad shooting which is exactly what RJ is. A dreadful college shooter from everywhere including the line, who had two other lottery picks on his Duke team but still couldn't hit water with an oar.
Herro shot 93.5% from the line in college. 36% from 3.
RJ shot 67% from the line, 30.8% from 3.
We drafted an awful shooter at #3 who turns out to be an awful shooter. We drafted an average NBA athlete who looks very much like an average NBA athlete. Again I would have tried anything to trade out of that pick at all costs.
No GM or scout on Earth would trade Herro for RJ Barrett right now. He looks better than Harden did at 20. Maybe this new shooting coach and Thibs' can make RJ into a good NBA player. I sure hope so.
You know what they say about assuming...
Yet he was still considered the leader of that duke team by your boy zion, was able to play multiple positions and could score at will, but sure isaiah keep chasing the dude who can shoot and not much else cuz he had (in your definition) a good playoff, see how far that gets you. Oh wait, there' plenty of proof where that gets you. Since thats pretty much what we've been doing in prior years
Well good thing you arent our gm then, we'd be stuck with twice the **** players with half the potential.

Goddamn. That wasnt even an arguable non foul. Likely wouldnt have made a difference anyway, but at least call those things

Yeah of course. But PG has been a top 5-10 player for 2 straight years despite injury, while Tatum hasn't really hit that level yet.
This is Tatum's best year. George has been producing like him since 2013, but he's been much better last year and even at the beginning of this season.
Overall this season and playoffs though he’s been a lot better than Paul George. I think Tatum will continue to get better so we’ll see
There's no doubt about what you say either. I don't even like PG too much, but he's a legit top 10 player. I like Tatum, but he's not that type of athlete, defender or shooter imo. He's absolutely smooth though and PG has had his frustrating duds obviously.

PG may have peaked, that said I can definitely pick more than 9 players over him. He's maybe TOP 15 to 20 in my book ...and dropping fast.

Re: Around the NBA - playoff bubble continued
I swear, if Heat finish the Celtics off and then beat Lakers, Imma buy Jimmy Butler's jersey and wear it for a week.
The series is still winnable for Nuggets. Lucky shot in game 2, terrible game by Jokic in game 4 + biased officials for a close game...
Malone should start playing Bol Bol more. If he stops Davis it's an easy comeback. I mean easy one.
LeBron is washed. If he can't dominate Nuggets, he stands no chance against the dogs of the Heat.
Imagine if somehow the refs make Lakers champions and give the MVP to LeBron. This would look even worse than the officiating game 4.

Jimmy Butler...love how he can affect a game when he's not scoring. Seriously, if Thibs can make RJ into Butler...

Mike Malone is a studio rapper who can’t freestyle for sheet.
He’s good at game planning but he’s always slow to react during games. He always makes his adjustments or substitutions a minute late, and it costs his team. He’s also too loyal to certain guys. It’s a common trait among coaches but he’s weirdly loyal to scrubs is my point.

It just occurred to me Brett Brown got fired in Philly. If they don’t promote Udoka, the Knicks should grab him for our bench

I agree guys like Mislap who is more cooked than Lebron. He needs to play MPjr more but only after chewing him out for making rookie mistakes. I was hoping Harris would rise to the occasion but he is still trash. Those young bench diudes for Denver are great though and so is Grant. They have a really bright future.
