I'd be thoroughly shocked if they did.

What would you expect to give up for the #2?
Would enable bulls to jump on 2 of Devi, Wiseman, Hayes or Ball

I think that with the hiring of Billy Donovan, that the organization is extremely unlikely to trade for more draft picks. If anything, I think it's more likely they decide to move down or trade the #4 for current NBA talent than attempt to acquire another draft pick. Donovan was such an unlikely hire, and reports state that he was specifically swayed by our FO's plans.
We don't know much about what direction AK, Eversley, and now Donovan plan to take this franchise. I concede that trading some of our current four relatively valuable players will likely happen, I just don't think it would be for a high draft pick.
(Ball)
LaVine
Porter Jr
Markkanen
(Wiseman)
I suppose that would be the goal in your situation, or perhaps Devi as a 3 if we can move Otto for another skilled vet. I am not wholly refuting the idea - dozens of guys here know the team better than I could ever evaluate, regardless - I simply think it's unlikely given Donovan's hiring. That hardly seems like something he would have chosen over NO, Indiana, or Philly's situations.

Ehhhh I wouldn't. The rise of quick off the dribble, shot making 6'4" guards like murray/herro has me liking cobys profile better than the uninspiring unknown of this top 3. WCJ has been a disappointment but theres still some hope his skillset develops in the mold of a poor mans horford/bam type big.

Wiseman > WCJ
Deni/Hayes < Coby White
I’d say the value is about right.

Given Billy was a very successful college coach and he did well with the young players in OKC I kind of imagined him relishing the idea of starting afresh with a number of high draft picks he can have input on to build a team around.
That was actually my logic for it. But I suppose it could work from your perspective also.

I hope not!
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

I'd probably give up on AK/Eversley tomorrow if we traded away White and WCJ for 2. That would be catastrophic. Now if we did that in 2021, and someone like Cade Cunningham was available, then I'd do it.

I think Carter is the max they would trade because he plays the worst position and has the least upside. Not Lauri, Lavine for moving up 2spots when everyone knows GS wants Deni. But BD is supporter of Carter so its even more unlikely they trade the core.
Basically, Bulls are unpredictable while GS is exposed who will they pick.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

He's talking about trading for the #2 pick straight up (i.e. the Bulls keep #4 as well). Thus the "2 of Deni, Wisman, Hayes, Ball" comment.

Yeah, after I thought more about it, I assumed that may have been your logic. I suppose that does make some sense. Perhaps during that 5.5 hour meeting of theirs that apparently sold Donovan on the Bulls, AK presented a similar idea of a very young team immediately crafted in a way that Donovan thinks would mesh and excel.
I think that White and Lavine, and then Carter Jr and Markkenen are two pairs of players that have enough overlap that I assume one of the four will be traded before the start of the season. Having just seen a Bulls twitter feed clip of Eversley presenting White with a rookie 2nd team mounted jersey, I think they are holding onto him. Then again, they've also pushed some LaVine/Donovan early love as well. Our fanbase is truly in the dark regarding the direction we're being steered to by the new FO and coach. It's a bit of a thrill, which we've not had much of the past few years.
So, while I still think your proposal is unlikely, my odds are on "Big trade" over "Stand pat", so it's worth chatting about. As others have said, it doesn't look like a clearly misbalanced trade based on simple value alone. #2 and #4, plus a trade of Porter Jr for a big contract + a young asset, we are there with Memphis and Phoenix and a couple other teams with some really exciting young players.

Oh god what will we do without a solid center and mediocre scoring guard! It's a catastrophe!

I don’t think this is the type of deal to really throw your hands up about. It’s completely unrealistic.
I think it’s fair to say that there is additional value received by the contracts locked up for a longer period of time. Personally, I’m a big fan of Coby White and would like to see what Donovan can do with this backcourt before breaking it apart.

I'd like to see what the pair can do for sure.
They have some roster decisions to make next as well. They have a busy first month coming up
