That’s not the point. Lakers have lots of options and Vogel can ride the hot hands outside of LeBron/AD. You don’t need one guy to do it consistently

Would really help if there was a 3pt marksman on a consistent basis come playoffs. Assuming Bradley is going to hit 6 threes per game especially when its playoff tension type games is unreasonable.

Dont want to keep beating a old drum but I really wish this Lakers team had a JR/Korver type of combo out there roaming the 3pt line. Green can be that type of guy but even with him (like today) he is not incredibly consistent.

KCP can be that type of guy but for whatever reason they dont use him in that type of role too often

Who assumed that Bradley is going to hit 6 threes per game in the playoffs?

The Lakers don't need that. They have plenty of guys that can step up and make shots (Green, Caruso, Kuzma, Bradley, Cook, KCP, Dion, etc)

Jeez guys. It's like you don't want to accept that the Lakers are actually just good so you're trying to find some excuse as to why they aren't.

Their record is what they are. Deal with it. Accept it. Move on.

A large part of the reason the Lakers won today is because Avery Bradley was on fire. Without him stepping up and knocking down all of those 3s the Lakers probably lose this game. My question is do you really think that type of performance can come from a revolving door of role players deep in the playoffs? Do you trust that somebody will step up every game and do what Bradley did today?

Im just saying I would feel more comfortable if the Lakers had a guy known for that role on a consistent basis and not play 'what role player is going to catch fire today' roulette on a game by game basis. Not that it cant work, just that the unknown is worrying.

Also, Im a Cavs/LeBron fan lol I have a mutual rooting interest as you do. Please dont come at me like Im trying to hate.

They just beat the Bucks and the Clippers. They are the best team in the league right now. The discussion should be about what other teams need to do to beat them.

The bigger problem here is the fact that the Clippers are so soft inside they practically have to put 5 guys in the paint to handle AD/LeBron, which leaves shooters open. Guys missed on Christmas (6-22 on wide open jump shots) but the Lakers knocked some down in the 2nd half today which changed the complexion of the game. You can’t keep giving nba level shooters wide open shots and expect consistent success defensively.

Not to mention LeBron and the Lakers hunted Lou Williams in the 2nd half...and he looked very exposed. If he can’t D anyone up then you can’t play him against great teams in a series or he will continually be exploited. That forces you to play Beverley or Jackson more and in crunch time which can be very detrimental offensively and are very inconsistent themselves. Lou down the stretch is very critical to the Clippers success but you can’t play him if the Lakers are continuously forcing him into mismatches.

Clippers have some things to figure out if they expect to win a series with the Lakers.

Bradley doesn't need to hit 6 threes. Best player in the world paired with AD will get you pretty far, and they have a good rotation of role players that can step up on any given night.

A series between them and the clips could go either way.

Overall, the Lakers can be much better in 3 points….Under 30% in the last 2 games vs Clippers and Bucks and they won both games!

Roster is unimpressive.

6th seed or worse

46-52 wins max

And now, “Of course they would win with two top 5 players.”

History has shown us that you can win a chip with just two Top 5 players, regardless of the supporting cast.

Smh. Lakers are either unimpressive or they’re tampering because Lebron “needs help” and can’t do it alone.

Man y’all are dumb.
