Facts I really wish we had Bol Bol to warm the bench instead of Grant who is actually playable in the conference finals. Hell, let alone playable in the playoffs.

And how did we let Isiah Roby slip away? He was tremendous in his whopping 3 games he played in for OKC this year!

Don’t even get me started on how good Nassir Little, Claxton, and Naz Reid were this year, especially in the playoffs for the latter POR and BKN. Just imagine if we added any of them to this roster they’d be a lock to win it all

I mean, hindsight is 20/20 and looking back is an exercise of futility, but at last year's draft, we could've gotten Brandon Clarke, Matisse Thybulle and Eric Paschall at Langford, Grant and Edward's spots. Oh boy what a team we would have!

To a lot of people it was beyond obvious Brandon Clarke was going to be good.

I guess I understand issues with a big w/ foot injuries... Feet are tough to heal to begin with, nevermind for a 7+ footer.

But bol bol, embiid, the organizations took that risk. A bol bol could have been drafted in place of edwards, moderate risk, huge upside. But no, he goes with c edwards. I don't get it.

This might be a good year drafting, as the lack of full college season might put more pressure 9n organizations to eval talent on less info.

Can we find a PG with good defense and ++ passing ability, and then just the rest of them on bigs. I'd like Vernon, I'm big on the Duke kids.

Can this team really support 2-3 more rookies. Besides the fact most rookies need a few years to develop. Do we have the space to develop 3-5 guys on a contending team. This draft seems to be a good one to have multiple picks. But where the hell do we put them. I highly doubt anybody drafted will see major minutes.
So maybe trading up is the move, but this seems like an awful draft to do it in.

I won't call that "hindsight 20/20". We knew going in we needed a big. I'd much rather than 4 shots at the best available bigs on the board at each pick, and see if we hit gold. And I would have taken this risk on bol bol.

This year, I propose the same. Take the best big on the board at the given slot, except a late first rounder, try and get the dude that seems to be the best passing skills and solid D. If everyone else can hit the 3, I'm fine with a predominantly defensive dude that can run point, drive, and dish.

I assume you mean Edwards, Green and Romeo??? Do I have faith in them? hell no, but I can say for certain we don't know what they bring to the table. It will be the same scenario with the 3 new rookies. There aren't minutes for them to develop. At some point if we are contending you need people who are ready to contribute on your bench.

I was one of them and the fact that we had 2 chances to draft him is doubling the headache.

Why I hated all 3 picks last year was each one had a glaring weakness. Romeo has some physical talents but looked like a 2 years away before he might contribute. Grant Williams does everything OK, like a glue player, BUT is 6'6 playing PF and center. Talk about a player with a low ceiling.. then we have Edwards. at 5'11, who isn't a PG. Is a one trick Pony.... Tremont waters is yet another in a long line of Little PGs, WHO ARE DEFENSIVE LIABILIES!!

Ainge/Stevens really need to get this year right. But based on history of years with multiple picks, my faith isn't too high

This may be a weaker draft but it seems deep in size and shooting , which are the two biggest needs. Maybe if they can clear some salery, did they get a good enough look at Edwards and Taco this year.

Big men with defensive potential....Precious/Stewart/Smith/Otoru/Reed/Perry
Shooters........Vassel/Nesmith/Bey/Bane/Nwora(all have decent size and length)

If you can grab one of each and maybe use the other first to move salary. Precious might be my favorite big man(though some consider him potentially a wing). Defensively very solid with a good amount of offensive potential. His issues are all mental(turnovers), maybe Stevens can clean that up.

Reid couldn’t stay on the court this year because he was fouling everyone(6 per 36). I doubt he would have seen any minutes here.

Precious Achiuwa is the closes thing to Bam in this draft. Modern day NBA big who can switch everything, elite defender, and insane athlete.

Pretty obvious that's the biggest need for this team.
