I'm not going to even watch the video. Wade is the best player Bron has ever had the pleasure of playing with. He was legit the best player in the NBA at times. He was better than Bron at points during their careers. This is Realgm GB level stuff.

People suffer from recency bias. It’s like they’ve totally forgotten how good prime Wade was.

Awesome name recency bias. They did the exact same thing when Kyrie was with Lebron now they acting like its obvious Wade was a better teammate.

Wade was the best player for year one, no question. After that Wade and injuries made him a different player. Not to mention the game evolved with 3pt shooting. No question Wade was the best for year one.

Watching how we play we need to find a big who can shoot & play D. Start with 2 bigs and then rotate on-off for the majority of the game with Bam.

AD would be perfect for us, but just not a realistic target - making the Finals and having LBJ constantly in his ear. He’s not enough of an alpha to want out (like Kyrie did), so he’s off the list.

Giannis doesn’t shoot well enough from deep at this point to be ideal, but him and Bam would be nasty - BIG NASTY! If both of them can slowly extend their range, while Herro/Duncan/Nunn keep developing then that forms the basis of a dynasty.

If we whiff on Giannis then we’re looking at running back the same the same squad for the foreseeable future. Maybe keep Hill on a tradable contract to enable him to be packaged with Nunn & a pick for a defensive upgrade in the guard rotation.

I just don't think that in today's NBA you can win in the playoffs with 3 non shooters in Jimmy/Bam/Giannis. Talking 3 point shooting.

Defense will be scary, but not enough spacing on offense.

Skillset AD would be great, But I agree it's not hapening.

I wonder if Clippers implode next year...maybe...?

Just imagine having anther Jimmy out there, next to original Jimmy, that can actually shoot better. We know for a fact Keonard wanted Jimmy to come to LA before he asked P. Gorge..

Herro
Butler
Robinson
Kawheezy
Bam

Six man Dragic

This team will kill.

I feel like Kawhi getting to LA was like Jimmy coming to Miami. It was always the desired outcome for them, regardless of the makeup of the team. Kawhi used the leverage he had to get a running buddy he wanted.

The bit I love about that lineup is the 6th man. I really think we may have him for the rest of his career - just like Jimmy & hopefully Bam/Herro/Robinson. Dragic & Jimmy have been just pouring out love for the franchise during this PO run - seeing them beaming at the success and acknowledgement the young guns are getting shows how emotionally invested they are in the Miami Heat.

I will be interested to see what happens with Jae. Dude has ties to Jimmy and now has made the Finals as a starter with possibly the first team that’s really pushed him and trusted him. He may be willing to play ball when contract talks come up, but there will likely be a tough decision between money and happiness.

This team looks happy. Yes, winning makes people happy, but Meyers and Kendrick started a billion games this season and have seen exactly 113 minutes combined. Those two dudes could be pouting, but they’re not.

Money is money and he hasnt been paid. Maybe we can do a one year deal with Crowder and Dragic. Remember we are playing Iguodala 15 mil a year for perspective. I see us breaking the bank on one year deals, Dragic something in the 20+ range, Crowder 15+ etc. They become expiring contracts that help bring in a whale

Jae will be paid by someone. I loved what he brings to the team but not someone you miss out on 2021 for. He is the type of player every NBA winning team needs. Hard nose, keeps firing and plays with an edge. What a trade to bring him and Iggy in.

I'm not really sure who will offer Jae the big bucks. He'll be useful to contenders with money, not that many of those,

Jae is gonna get a 2-3/48-70 from a team that knows we want to keep $$ off the books for 2021. He'd be an alternative to Millsap in Denver.

Dallas probably gonna do the same for Goran if they can.

They are finals pieces in a weak FA market.

Could see us losing both and DJJ. We need to use it on 1 year deals and not panic. See what we can get for Kelly.

Next year coming in we will have locked in

__ / Nunn

Duncan / Herro

Jimmy / Iggy / KZ

__ / Kelly

Bam / __ / Silva

There's a possibility you see us throw a minimum type contract at Meyers to try to keep him in a backup role, but I see a more likely chance that we use pick 20 on either Vernon Carey, Daniel Otoru, Jalen Smith to play behind Bam.

At that point we can work on bringing Dragic/Crowder back on 1-2 year deals.

Everything changes if we get a chance at a whale . Then we could use our 1st round pick and Iggy/KO expirings to try to get someone. Nunn would likely be on the table in that scenario too .

would be awesome if we could some how end up with both.

I would prefer Holiday and Ibaka.....but this is darn close and younger. I like this more then swinging on GA and missing

The market on Dipo will be lower due to his injury, and people knowing he wants to get to Miami. We definitely could be in the mix with some form of Nunn/KO/Iggy/pick type deal - but for both that would complete the line-up!

Return to Miami Heat
