At this point I feel like Dee Ford is stealing money. I mean come on dude, get yourself right.

And Pettis might not be stealing money, but he might as well find another vocation, because this one ain’t producing.

Niners knew Ford has had availability concerns and they have signed injury prone players so that’s partially on them. Hopefully Ford’s off-season surgery pays off in the long run as we need him this year. The injuries are crazy and McKinnon and Ward always get injured so it’s only a matter of time. Luckily the schedule is kind to us right now opponent wise (not field wise as we have to play at Met Life again this week)

Most fascinating story of the day in the NFL is 49ers long snapper Kyle Nelson inexplicably losing his ability to snap the ball for FGs. Apparently it's entirely mental.

49ers are ridiculously deep

Is there even a drop off from G to M?

I hate to say it, but Mullens goes through his progressions faster and more decisively than Garoppolo.

Don’t be afraid to say it, you’re right. And it’s not a fluke, here’s a bit from a draft profile of him:

Processes well post snap. Shows ability to eliminate a read quickly and move on to the next with poise... For what he lacks in size in arm strength, he makes up for with his accuracy, pocket poise, and ability to work through progressions and see the game clearly.

Garoppolo may be the NFL's most handsome QB so he's still got that going for him.

Now I see why they gave Mckinnon so much money two years ago. He can do it all.
