Is it just me or did Brad Stevens lose that game for the Celtics. They weren't attacking the zone right, just passing it around the perimeter and then on defense Stevens should have looked to counter w a zone as well, it looked like it worked for them when they used it previously, rebounding was also an issue. I would've considered putting Rob Williams in to counter Bam.

Lakers are obviously great and size is a real problem, but at the same time I felt Boston's athletic perimeter guys were the ultimate weakness for Miami which is why they had to play zone a lot. Boston was the worst matchup for Miami on paper IMO.

Yeah, Brad seemed stunned during the fourth.

If I was a Celtics fan I want a fairly clear explanation on his thought process down the stretch.

Heat just played really, really well. They've had one guy every game that's gone HAM from three. Adebayo was brilliant, Herro is an assassin, Dragic was brilliant. We didn't hit enough open threes. Kemba was garbage, Hayward was garbage.
Theis was balls.

Just tough when opponents are shooting that well and we don't hit open shots.

Issue is going to be Dwight on the offensive glass. I’ve barely thought about it tbh yet but at first thought that issue worries me.

If crowder is on LeBron and Bam on AD, that leaves Butler or Duncan on Dwight. Not worried about Dwight post ups (please waste possessions trying that) but the glass will be a disaster. A lot of teams have this issue against Lakers. They are huge.

Basketball is played on two ends. If Dwight is out there he also has to guard someone. If it's Bam he'll get murdered in the pick n roll.

Howard and the fouls he has to give seems to have been underestimated to me . Credit to Vogel +/- LeBron for getting a player who has always given every appearance of being dumb as a box of rocks to play as a role player in a role which helps his team.

I will be going for the Heat because I like an underdog and like Jimmy, Iguodala and Bam, but not as strongly as I would have previously, you can only give credit to LeBron and AD for how they have been playing, providing there are no more shenanigans about LeBron not getting enough calls of course.

We now won't have to hear about Daniel Theis until 2021. Pleased about that.

Was clearly moving and didn't have position.
Would have been wasted challenge and a crucial lost time out. If they managed to get it close, he would have potentially needed the challenge and the timeout.
This isn't on Brad. His players couldn't make shots and Spoelstra's players did.

What a pathetic and poorly run Boston franchise is, can't even reach the finals even after LeBron left the East in shambles.

1 championship in 34 years.

Jesus Christ lol. People really hate the Celtics on here.

Guess you didn’t see the same series the rest of us did. Looked pretty pedestrian to me.

Seems like you’re throwing the term star around too loosely.

Yet another example of a Lakers fan trying to get everyone to cheer for the Heat.

time to break up these celtics. many of them played with no heart, except maybe brown. the rest were soft and it really showed. isiah thomas-led celtics were better than this bunch
