lol right and that’s how you avoid Drummond/KP. The combo of Hood, Shamet and Kennard was too much, and you already know LeBron was gonna get his no matter what. Your team made it interesting for the most part though.

Thanks bro. Your twin towers will be a problem too! Glad you’re out west. Good game. You get props enough for disposing of stacked Indiana. That was all I needed to see to know your team will be doing damage this upcoming season.

Glad to be the first team moving on to the Final Four.

yeah i agree...million dollar question is -will the sim?

Yup, that’s the question. Historically speaking, the SIM has undervalued LeBron. But to be fair, once I acquired him, after an initial tailspin, I found the right lineups and rotation. Then he went on a crazy run and led us to his first ever BaF playoffs (and Toronto’s 3rd consecutive playoff berth). That was enough to secure the league MVP award.

So that makes me think maybe there was never any SIM bias at all. Maybe just poor roster construction with the previous stops LeBron were at.

Regardless of how free agency plays out, I’m 100% confident as long as LeBron stays healthy, the Raptors will be a legitimate contender in 2020-21.

Yeah those shooters over there killed our momentum every time we made a run and cut it down, I think at one point we even tied the game but then there they go that combo of Hood and Kennard just coming with a flurry of 3s to just go out front again.

and depending on how wolverine dealt with the "pandemic" in relation to calculating their ratings- when Bron wins it all IRL
that may help you...
shouldnt kennard get a sim boost?

Good point. And yeah, Kennard is likely due for a boost since his IRL production is trending upward.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The voting regarding our draft date has come to an end. We will not be postponing the draft to the week before the actual NBA draft in November. However, we will be making a few adjustments to the offseason schedule.

Draft dates-

October 17-21

Roster Freeze-

October 22-24

Free Agency Begins-

October 25

Basically we are going to move the draft back one week. I am going away for Columbus Day weekend and while I will have Wifi where I am going, it is pretty unreliable. This will also allow me to be more available during the first few days of the draft. We will also move the roster freeze to after the draft now so teams will be able to make roster moves right up and through the draft. Free Agency will still begin three days after the draft on October 25th.

nice bish! enjoy your long weekend with the family!

also the "nba combine" runs from late sept through Oct 16th...so there would in theory be no more interviews or workouts scheduled after that point anyway. Seems to work out perfectly moving it back one week.
