The New York times is reporting that Donald J. Trump paid $750 in federal income taxes the year he won the presidency. In his first year in the White House, he paid another $750. This is because the NYT has released Trump's tax returns. This is far less than paid by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in taxes. Basically the news is that Trump never pays taxes and avoids his taxes.
He had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years — largely because he reported losing much more money than he made.
As the president wages a re-election campaign that polls say he is in danger of losing, his finances are under stress, beset by losses and hundreds of millions of dollars in debt coming due that he has personally guaranteed. Also hanging over him is a decade-long audit battle with the Internal Revenue Service over the legitimacy of a $72.9 million tax refund that he claimed, and received, after declaring huge losses. An adverse ruling could cost him more than $100 million.

Biden came out looking fine. The same thing is going to happen when he goes head to head with Trump.
Not sanders, he never said anything about it. Booker, Castro, in the debate, Tim Ryan on tv. also brought up by a few pundits on msnbc. You don't remember Castro's "did you forget what you said just two minutes ago" comment and Booker saying Castro was right to question it and "sometimes you look at Biden and just wonder" after he said something about record players. Ryan said he was declining and demonstrates a lack of clarity, etc. To be fair they didn't go so far to say "he has dementia" but his mental acuity and sharpness was in question BY DEMOCRATS in fall 2019 and once march rolled around it was erased from everyone's memory like the flashy thing from Men In Black and became a no-no to talk about and of course solidified by proclaiming it's Russians. Greenwald like him or not, probably not, did a whole write-up about this phenomena. https://theintercept.com/2020/03/09/it-was-democrats-and-their-media-allies-who-impugned-bidens-cognitive-fitness-yet-now-feign-outrage/
Point is to say that this is going to be something people will be watching for in the debate and something that Trump will be looking to pounce on, and he will need to once again put forward a sharp debate performance as he did in the debate vs Sanders to quell this narrative
@Pointgod
People called it out and the media called it out. Bernie didn't have to do anything and he didn't. It was evident to everyone. Why do you think Obama was against Biden running in the first place? He knew.
Biden was a dud in the early debates. Then all of a sudden perked up for the Bernie debate? (Biden still lied his ass off without retribution from the moderators, of course.)
This is all water under the bridge. I just hope that Biden takes whatever he took before debating Bernie.
Trump apparently is thinking the same thing, he’s posted 3 things in the last day about Biden including this gem
?s=21
Guess he would rather not talk about those tax returns that shows he basically didn’t pay any and confirms what we all knew anyway

Here’s the actual report by Moody’s you can see the analysis they used.
https://www.moodysanalytics.com/-/media/article/2020/the-macroeconomic-consequences-trump-vs-biden.pdf
It’s common sense that direct government investment will spur job growth through infrastructure projects, combined with people returning back to work that were laid off during the pandemic as well as other policies gets you to the 18.6 number. Remember this is over 4 years. Under similar starting circumstances Obama added 16 million private sector jobs over 6 years.
Papi_swav wrote: Honestly, I don't think either of these 2 are going to do what's best for the country. You don't have a problem with Biden's comments? We all know Trump says horrible things but Biden says crazy things too. If you don't vote for me you aint black, if my opponent wins they're going to out ya'll back in chains, we were on the south's side in the civil war, you cannot go to 7/11 or dunkin donuts unless u have a slight indian accent... none of this concerns u or do you just not care? People cry about what Trump says but Biden is just as bad, and he said much worse back then in the 80s 90s. The dude is senile. I'm not voting for trump but I ain't voting for Biden either. And Kamala Harris is trash.
I see you’ve fallen for the propaganda. Biden never said if you don’t vote for me you ain’t black. That’s a lie. What he said was an awkwardly worded and stupid statement that he apologized for. You can’t actually even compare that to Trump who called for the death penalty for the Central Park 5, was found guilty of housing discrimination, called Mexicans rapists, said Black people are too stupid to vote for him and I mean that’s not even the tip of the iceberg. And you’re falling for the Biden is senile propaganda as well. You’re being lied to and manipulated because Republicans know that they have noting to offer you so they try to discourage you from voting and it seems to be working.
Papi_swav wrote: The issues I care about is paying less taxes (especially living in NYC) and better healthcare for everyone but these 2 definitely won't help in that department. Those are my 2 main focuses that would help USA. Yes jobs will also help, and not more Amazon factories. But I predict Trump is going to win anyway, by a landslide.
Hold up. Are you kidding me? Because of Trump’s tax scam you’re paying more in taxes living in NYC. He pretty much gave you guys a **** you on purpose with that tax plan. And right now he’s trying to get rid of the ACA in court which means less healthcare for everyone. People will die since we’re in the middle of a pandemic. I don’t understand this. Biden’s healthcare plan will cover more people and save more lives and it may not go as far as you want but you can’t have a seat at the table to get the healthcare you want unless Democrats get control of the government, that’s a fact.
One last thing I’ll say is that Trump told blue states to literally drop dead with his coronavirus response. You don’t get that he hates you because you didn’t vote for him and will make life miserable for everyone in blue states Republicans included if he gets 4 more years. I thought New York has pride, at least vote for Biden as a complete **** your to Trump. If you think Trump is going to win in a landslide anyway, than what do you have to lose?

Remember when Romney got **** over him not paying taxes for a couple of years? I know Trump’s supporters are going to spin this as him being some brilliant business man, but just intrinsically you know that a so called billionaire should pay more than $750 dollars in taxes. Either there’s a lot of fraud involved to avoid taxes or he’s not as great a business man as they claim to lose 100s of millions of dollars.

I bet if he gets re-elected he’ll figure out a way to forgive himself for the $300 million in loans that he owes, but forget a second pandemic stimulus check as people begin to starve, and he’ll laugh at any sort of college loan forgiveness program that reaches his desk.

Yes, we knew it all along but others somehow did not or looked the other way because Hillary was Hillary, yada yada. But now the blue collar republicans in the heartland will see it in black and white. It can't hurt. We need to completely tar and feather Trump and get him on his heels.
Thankfully, Biden doesn't have a tax problem. (Let's not talk about the plagiarism charge back in '92 or whenever it was.)

All his money is owed to overseas lenders, meaning he's either gonna use taxpayer money to pay them off, or he's gonna mold our foreign policy around their interests so they forgive his debt

I dont think Biden is a tremendous candidate but at this point we just need a human being with empathy who isn’t so divisive in the white house that’s why I’m voting for him.
The country is So divided right now the last thing we need is someone like Trump fueling the fire.
I’m not saying if Biden’s in were all gonna be holding hands singing Kumbaya but having four more years of a president who is basically telling half the country to go F themselves is not sustainable.
Four more years of this and this country will burn to the ground.

Allow to rephrase...he seems to have dementia. He definitely forgets what he is talking about mid sentence. He forgets numbers like no one I have ever seen in office. He ratlles off about things like kids petting his leg hair and working in women's dept stores....and many many other incoherent ramblings. He has been hiding from the cameras and using every available assist like teleprompters and notes...that he gets lost while he is reading them. Come on man. People acting like there is nothing wrong with Joe are crazy. Good days and bad days. That's how it works. I lived with it in my house as a child/teen and then with my mother in her last days. I'll give my opinion on it as I see it with my own eyes. I live with the fear of getting it myself. My mother had it fairly early. This dude is in and out of reality IMO.
Explain the lack of presence during a campaign year. He has been on lockdown more often than not. MSM giving him a pass.
It is apparent that anyone who supports other choices besides Biden around here ..get drowned out by an echo chamber.
I hate Donald Trump. More importantly...the Dems spent four years trying to discredit his presidency and couldn't take the time to prepare a better candidate? Looking past Joe's current issues...his track record is garbage. Littered with racist comments and support racially imbalanced policies. So....there is also that reason why he is a lousy choice.
if enough people vote 3rd party....we can avoid insanely terrible election choices like we have had the last few elections.
I damn sure won't vote for a guy who can barely firm a sentence let alone a thought in some days.
as if trump can seriously basing this on just observations trump is further along the dementia path the Biden is. Seriously did you see his shuffle, his issues completing sentences sometimes his slurring of words his stance everything about him screams early stages of some type of illness just looking from the outside including the lies, the typos.
