We can't match their size, so we need to bring it with the speed/shooting/strong wing defenders. I hope they are secretly susceptible to our zone.

Herro in at the 2, and Crowder sliding to the 5 would be my go-to small line-up. Force a big to have to switch on one of Dragic/Herro/Butler or chase Robinson on the perimeter. Off-ball movement and duality that they didn't see against other small line-ups

Lebron and AD are going to get theirs.. we are going to have to build that wall on the paint and make it difficult.

The key to this series is eliminating their other guys. We cant let Caldwell Pope, Rondo or Caruso go off on us. Especially Caruso where theres times he cant miss. Focus on creating problems on their roleplayers, make it difficult on them and force them to turnovers..

Lebron and AD can win by themselves, but letting that third player like Caruso get hot will make it easy on the Lakers.

Its going to be a tough series. But im sure Spoelstra is already working on defensive strategy and eliminating that third guy.

Btw what is this weird angle people are talking about. Lebron revenge series against the Heat? Him vs Pat? Huh?

Pat Riley laid the red carpet for the guy since the first free agent meeting in 2010 and the last one in 2014. He did not go on a racist tantrum like Dan Gilbert did in 2010, and Lebron went BACK to the Cavaliers.

Lebron is not a fan of head coaches, he always has had an attitude towards head coaches and thinks hes above coaching. Hes a fan of Ty Lue, who in my opinion is overrated as hell and was just a yes man to Lebron.

Thats fine, its gotten him very successful obviously with that mindset. But as far as that revenge angle people are talking about. Thats all made up nonsense and if Lebron really is playing that card then he manufactured it himself. I dont think the Heat give a ****, we have moved on just like he moved on from us six years ago, or so i think he moved on.

Our style of play negates many of the advantages of superstars like LeBron and Davis. I don't see the Lakers limiting Duncan Robinson's shooting. If Kendrick Nunn is going to have a good series in these playoffs, the Lakers are tailor-made for him. Miami is faster and we have better shooters than Houston. The way the Heat moves the ball will tire the Lakers, we can build a wall at the basket and still be fast enough to defend the perimeter. Bam will bring his A-game against Anthony and we have Iguodala, Butler, Jones and Crowder to limit James. Spoelstra is a brilliant coach and the Miami Heat as a team have a high basketball IQ. We've been preparing to face the Lakers all year, while LeBron never saw our team reach the final. All of our players are clutch and this will have a huge impact on this series. We got this.

We can play uptempo or any style and Spoelstra is the best at making those adjustments. I know Miami has something special up its sleeve just for this moment. If LeBron gets frustrated after the first two games, we're going to win the mind games for the rest of the series.

what worries me the most is their size, getting out rebounded and having to resort just to perimeter shooting because our players get scared to attack the RIM. We need to come out with a very good strategy.

I have to go back and watch the games (which I probably won't) but my impression of the last 2 regular szn games against LAL was that zone did not work too well.

But in theory it should work. They are not the greatest 3 point shooting team. Clogging the middle will make LeBron very uncomfortable to work around.

Make them turn the ball over and we'll give ourselves a good chance

If anything Pat has the reason to want revenge for that pitch meeting that LeBron didn’t even pay attention and already had agreed on a deal with CLEVELAND and Bron didn’t have the balls, the character or the decency to tell that to RILEY.
