LAVISKA SHENAULT
WR, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Laviska Shenault caught 5-of-6 targets for 33 yards in the Jaguars' Week 3 loss to the Dolphins, adding a one-yard rush.

Week 3's most tweeted about fantasy darling, Shenault instead saw his rushing usage dialed back. He wasn't put in position to make any big plays as a pass catcher, and was barely heard from in the second half as the Jags played from behind. The positive takeaway is that the receptions were a new season high, while Shenault has now reached at least five touches in all three of his NFL appearances. The Bengals are a mouthwatering Week 4 matchup.

JOSH UCHE
LB, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Patriots placed LB Josh Uche on injured reserve with a foot injury.

A healthy scratch in Week 1, Uche missed Week 2 with an ankle ailment. He then injured his foot in practice this week. That all adds up to a rookie season that is suddenly in danger of being lost.

JAMYCAL HASTY
RB, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

49ers promoted RB JaMycal Hasty from the practice squad.

This was expected with Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman out. Hasty joins Jeff Wilson and Jerick McKinnon in an injury-ravaged backfield. He could see a few touches in a change-up role.

JERRY JEUDY
WR, DENVER BRONCOS

Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said WR Jerry Jeudy will be a game time decision for Week 3 against the Bucs.

Jeudy was listed as questionable. He was targeted seven times last week against the Steelers. If he's inactive this Sunday, rookie KJ Hamler -- who made his debut last week -- becomes a sneaky fantasy play. The speedy wideout could default into volume in what's likely to be a pass heavy Denver offense. Hamler got seven targets while playing 62 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Week 2.

HENRY RUGGS
WR, LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Raiders WR Henry Ruggs (knee, hamstring) is out for Week 3 against the Patriots.

The rookie was downgraded to "limited" in Thursday's practice -- an ominous sign for his Week 3 availability. He wasn't able to practice Friday. Ruggs wasn't getting much opportunity in the Vegas offense -- he has a 9 percent target share -- but the Raiders will miss his speed against New England. Bryan Edwards or Nelson Agholor could see a little more opportunity with Ruggs out.

JOHN HIGHTOWER
WR, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Eagles WR John Hightower led Philadelphia receivers in snaps in Week 3 against the Bengals.

It didn't add up to much, as the rookie wideout ended with two receptions on three targets. Hightower also led the team's wideouts with 50 pass routes. Greg Ward, who commanded 11 targets, ran 46 routes. Jalen Reagor is going to miss the next month or so and DeSean Jackson left Sunday's game early with a hamstring injury. Hightower could be the team's WR2 for at least the next couple weeks. Ward, meanwhile, is once again the Eagles' unquestioned No. 1 receiver. Alshon Jeffrey could return for Week 5 and see an immediate role in the Eagles passing game.

BRYAN EDWARDS
WR, LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Raiders WR Bryan Edwards ran 13 pass routes in Week 3 against the Patriots.

With Henry Ruggs (knee) inactive, Edwards, who drew praise from coaches and beat reporters during training camp, ran well behind Zay Jones, Hunter Renfrow, and Nelson Agholor, who led the team in routes against the Patriots. Renfrow had a team-high eight targets. Agholor is a better desperation flex option than Edwards at this point.

ANTONIO GANDY-GOLDEN
WR, WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM

Antonio Gandy-Golden had one rush for 22 yards in Washington's Week 3 loss to the Browns.

The rookie was targeted twice but didn't have a reception. Gandy-Golden's 22-yard run ended with a vicious welcome-to-the-NFL hit that sent him flying out of bounds. Gandy-Golden, like all receivers in the Football Team offense not named Terry McLaurin, isn't usable for fantasy purposes.

CEEDEE LAMB
WR, DALLAS COWBOYS

CeeDee Lamb caught 5-of-6 targets for 65 yards in the Cowboys' Week 3 loss to the Seahawks.

Lamb was tied for fifth in targets with Cedrick Wilson (7 targets) joining the party. It's not a big concern for Lamb in the long run, as he's proven to be a stud player within just three NFL games. Lamb is the slot receiver for one of the top passing offenses in the NFL, so it will be hard to rank him outside of the top-30 receivers in many matchups for the rest of the year. The Cowboys catch the Browns at home for Week 4.

D'ANDRE SWIFT
RB, DETROIT LIONS

D'Andre Swift was held without a rushing attempt in the Lions' Week 3 win over the Cardinals, catching 1-of-2 targets for 19 yards.

Per Next Gen Stats, Swift played all of five snaps as Adrian Peterson gobbled up 22 carries. Kerryon Johnson had three handles on the ground. The talented rookie has now been the clear No. 3 back in back-to-back games after his egregious Week 1 touchdown drop. Swift needs to be kept around in 12-team leagues for his upside, but the earliest he might be useful is following the Lions' Week 5 bye.

JERRY JEUDY
WR, DENVER BRONCOS

Jerry Jeudy caught 5-of-8 targets for 55 yards in Week 3 against the Bucs.

Jeudy played through a questionable tag but looked fully healthy. His eight targets were behind only Noah Fant (10). The Broncos moved Jeudy around a lot, using him both in the slot and outside. Jeudy's quarterback play caps his upside, but he should be helped by pass heavy gamescripts with Drew Lock out.

KJ HAMLER
WR, DENVER BRONCOS

KJ Hamler caught 3-of-5 targets for 30 yards in Week 3 against the Bucs.

The Broncos got Hamler involved early, giving him a designed run that went for negative yards. He was held back by Jeff Driskel, who was benched in the fourth quarter. Hamler finished fourth behind Noah Fant (10), Jerry Jeudy (8), and Melvin Gordon (6) in targets. Hamler's upside is capped by the Broncos' quarterback situation, but his role is trending up.

MICHAEL PITTMAN
WR, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Michael Pittman hauled in 3-of-4 targets for 26 yards in Indianapolis' Week 3 win over the Jets.

Pittman left for an extended period following an ankle injury in the second half. Fortunately his availability was unnecessary since Philip Rivers and Jacoby Brissett dropped back to throw just 25 times as Indianapolis' defense suffocated Sam Darnold for three picks, two defensive touchdowns, and a safety. Zach Pascal remains the team's starting slot receiver and should garner interest on waiver wires if Pittman misses any time. The rookie himself is merely a stash until his role is further unveiled in a competitive game script.

JOSHUA KELLEY
RB, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Joshua Kelley rushed eight times for 43 yards in the Chargers' Week 3 loss to the Panthers, adding two catches for nine yards.

Kelley slipped well behind Ekeler in total touches against Carolina. The rookie fumbled on his best run of the day, perhaps costing playing time in the second half. When game script turns against LA, it's clear Kelley will struggled to get sufficient touches. He'll be a borderline RB3 in Week 4 against the Bucs.

JONATHAN TAYLOR
RB, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Jonathan Taylor rushed 13 times for 59 yards and one score in Indianapolis' Week 3 pummeling of the Jets.

Indianapolis opened up a 14-7 lead to close the first quarter and never looked back — hence Taylor's lightened workload on the afternoon. The rookie handled 13-of-29 backfield carries and 14 of the team's 35 backfield touches, out-touching Nyheim Hines (14 to 11) for the second consecutive performance. Taylor has impressively averaged 4.1 yards per carry as Indianapolis' starter in place of Marlon Mack. He'll remain a low-end RB1 in Week 4 against the 3-0 Bears.

HARRISON BRYANT
TE, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Harrison Bryant caught 1-of-3 targets for a one-yard touchdown in the Browns' Week 3 win against Washington.

The accomplished rookie out of Florida Atlantic found himself wide open in the end zone, and Baker Mayfield found him in time. The Browns looked determined to get their tight ends -- Bryant and Austin Hooper -- more involved in the passing game this week. Bryant won't be fantasy relevant unless Hooper misses time this year.

ANTHONY MCFARLAND
RB, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Anthony McFarland rushed six times for 42 yards in Pittsburgh's Week 3 win over the Texans.

McFarland notably got carries in the first half over Benny Snell (7/11), recording an explosive 20-yard gain behind Pittsburgh's (finally) healthy o-line. If anything, this performance puts McFarland on the map as a change-of-pace option if James Conner (18/109/1) were to get injured again. He's worth stashing in dynasty leagues.

CHASE CLAYPOOL
WR, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Chase Claypool caught 1-of-4 targets for 24 yards in Pittsburgh's Week 3 win over the Texans.

Claypool nearly turned his lone catch into a touchdown but was ultimately knocked out of bounds while stretching for the pylon. With Diontae Johnson (concussion) exiting early, Claypool will garner interest on waivers (and rightfully so) ahead of Pittsburgh's Week 4 matchup against Tennessee. The rookie is a tremendous stash regardless in case he eventually takes the team's No. 3 receiver job full-time.

ISAIAH WRIGHT
WR, WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM

Isaiah Wright caught 4-of-7 targets for 24 yards in Week 3 against the Browns.

The rookie is listed behind Steven Sims on the team's depth chart but played ahead of Sims in Week 3, seeing more targets than everyone Washington pass catcher besides Logan Thomas and Terry McLaurin. Wright won't be on the fantasy radar until Washington runs into injuries among its receivers.

TEE HIGGINS
WR, CINCINNATI BENGALS

Tee Higgins caught 5-of-9 targets for 40 yards and two touchdowns in the Bengals' Week 3 tie with the Eagles.

The Bengals showed their confidence in Higgins' progression before kickoff by making John Ross a healthy scratch. Higgins took over the No. 3 receiver role and flourished as a fantasy player with the two scores. His breakout performance wasn't perfect though. Higgins was penalized for stepping out of bounds on a Joe Burrow scramble and subsequent throw to Higgins. He also let a defender jar the ball loose on a deep shot from Burrow in overtime. Burrow was sacked on the subsequent play and the drive ended in a punt. Some mental errors aside, Higgins debut was encouraging and he'll be a deep flex option moving forward because of the passing volume in Cincinnati.
