While clearly not as bad as Mike, they definitely share that low start from the opposite side of the head form that really pisses me off. I'm scarred for life as a fan of the Hornets after the failed MKG experiment.

I get the notion that he doesn't think there's anything wrong with his form which is the most concerning aspect of him as a prospect to me.

Its no Ray Allen, but its not devastatingly bad.

Looks a lot like the Josh Childress jump shot to me - only worse.

He already said so - he doesnt think he needs to work on his shooting.

He's got that Trae Young stroke, just needs to work on the accuracy.

The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

You have to understand Lamelo has range. He doesn't have to jump from the 3 point line. He will be shooting 3s from near half court and making them at a decent percent. He is going to break the NBA. If you play NBA 2k, you play with Lamelo Ball exclusively. No player in the history of the NBA has this kid's range plus passing ability.

Charlotte had a chance to pick someone of Lamelo's Ball upside only once and they traded him away for Vlade Divac. Let's not make the same mistake. If he's there, he's the pick. MJ will convince him this is his team. No drama, Ball is a fighter. Getting a top pick, a lot of times you have to worry about how the player will handle the spotlight and big paycheck. Lamelo has already had it, he embraces it, and thrives with it. He is a one step back, two steps forward kind of guy.

He made threes at 25% last season. Not sure if that's what you mean by decent.

And then you say this... like I can't tell if you're being facetious or not lol

Kudos if so

I don't worry about LaMelo telling people that his shot doesn't need work. If he did say that it would hurt his draft stock.

Miami and San Antonio both have amazing shooting coaches. If he went to a team like that I would feel pretty confident about his long term development. GS would paradoxically be a bad landing spot for him IMHO. He's already taking bad shots by trying to be like Steph. Playing on the same team as the guy would be really bad for him.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

If we draft LaMelo, "Ball don't lie!" will become a regular crowd chant at Spectrum whenever he shoots and misses.

I get mcw and Kendall Marshall vibes from him. He has talent but with too many holes to stay in the nba. Mcw hung around due to defence which ball doesn’t have.

If we take him, I hope he proves me wrong
