Lol. Our team failed miserably and okc failed miserably and New York failed miserably and Portland failed miserably and now Boston failed miserably.

Kinda sad how some people go out of their way to stick to their guns rather than admit maybe they were wrong, even with mountains of evidence to look at.

Thank you for proving my point though, that no matter how much Kanter gets the same treatment everywhere he goes, the fans who were so sure Enes got a raw deal in Utah will continue to insist he just hasn't found the right opportunity.

Well, I'm glad you can take solace that Enes Kanter, who was a bench player for us, has continued to be a bench player every stop he's been. Really, I don't know who you're arguing with and taking victory over. You might be the only person to mention Enes Kanter on this forum in the last 3 years...but if these are the things you have to grasp onto to be a proud Jazz fan, to each their own.

I mean, who really cares about choking away our playoff series and best chance to compete for a title in decades...the real victory is that Enes Kanter is a bench player that we took #3 overall. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see if Exum continues to be a bust.

If Kanter doesn't get to play, then how is it his fault that Boston is failing? Also, he was played in game 5, performed well, and the Celtics won, so there's that.

Either way, it's a sad fan experience that Enes f***ng Kanter failing (or not) is what we should be happy about. That guy is/was a bench player who hasn't played for us in years. Even if it is something to take joy in, why are we so happy that the pick we made turned out to be bust after all?

I guess this is just what you do when you push all the chips in and fall flat on your face.

Really pulling for the Heat in the finals. They did everything right and everything we couldn’t.

I dunno. He didn't look that great coming back from that injury. I'd be more intrigued by Sabonis.

I’d rather gamble on Dipo than Conley.

Oladipo's recent injuries make me nervous, but as far as fit goes he looks to me like an ideal fit next to DM and for the Jazz in general. Don't know if we can get it done, though. We don't have many assets other than Conley's expiring contract.

Utah trades: Royce O'neale, Mike Conley, Ed Davis, 2020 UTA 1st (23) [~$47 million]
Utah receives: Victor Oladipo, Dwight Powell, Jeremy Lamb, Doug McDermott [~$48 million]

Dallas trades: Dwight Powell, 2020 DAL 1st (18), 2020 GSW 2nd (31)
Dallas receives: Royce O'neale

Indiana trades: Victor Oladipo, Jeremy Lamb, Doug McDermott
Indiana receives: Chris Paul, 2020 DAL 1st (18), 2020 UTA 1st (23)

Oklahoma City trades: Chris Paul
Oklahoma City receives: Mike Conley, Ed Davis, 2020 GSW 2nd (31)

Resign Clarkson, be willing to do lux-tax in 21-22, and drop back below in 22-23 when Ingles expires...

Gobert/Bradley/Powell
Bogdanovic/Powell/Niang/Brantley
Ingles/McDermott/Lamb
Oladipo/Clarkson/Oni
Mitchell/BAE/Clarkson

I think that team is one trade away from balancing the roster nicely, tbh, but I think it's better than we are now.

Utah need undervalued players on longterm contracts, I love the idea of Dipo, Turner, and Tobias Harris on our team, draft a 3 and D wing.

Mitchell
Dipo
Bogey
Harris
Turner

That teams goes to the finals.
Ingles is cooked.

And a bench of who? Still not believing Dipo is worth risking. He is coming off a hard injury and I could see him delivering less than Hayward stats.

Yes, Dipo's injuries are a major concern.

It looks like Buddy Hield will soon be on the market. Reportedly he wants out and doesn't answer the phone if his coach is calling. We probably don't have the assets to get him, though.
