That isolation nonsense he had his team running on every possession is the cause for this.

Steve Ballmer will probably make Erick Spoelstra's assistant Dan Craig their next head coach.

Brad Stevens was running the same kind of offense in these playoffs with Boston.

And isolation ball became en vogue again after Kawhi led the Raptors to the chip last year.

Doc deserves some blame for the Nuggets series but he's not the only person responsible for this failure. His players messed up. Some of them clearly wanted to go home and flat-out quit (hello Lou Will).

He was overrated by Knicks Twitter lol. They all acted like he is the only coach in the history of basketball to develop players. To be honest, Kenny's system is a worse version of Mike D'Antoni's.

Ppl talked themselves into THJ & Portis. An actual all NBA perennial all star two way player? Everyone would talk themselves into it.

This what the Mills reign turned us into. We are professional silver lining chasers.

Doc Rivers seen by many as another Gregg Popovich, but really is in the same class as guys like Mike D'antoni, Nate Mcmillan and Mark Jackson.

Nice to see the Knicks f*cked up by taking RJ instead of Herro.

Only the Knicks can f*ck up a draft when they are picking 3rd.

No sense in them trading up, back or sideways this draft. Inevitably, they bolo the 1st round pick.
I had posters side eyeing me from the screen when I wanted to trade down.

Ditto. We enjoyed the moment though.

D'Antoni sort of quits and then goes onto another place before they realize he's not that good a coach. He quit Suns too.

Herro only looks this good because he is playing for an organization that is committed to developing players. The Knicks wouldn't know what to do with Herro and probably would trade him to get rid of Randle's contract to clear cap room for another pipe dream pursuit at free agents.

I think both of that is nonsense. Excuse me, nothing personal.

Both D'antoni and Van Gundy admitted to regretting the fact that they quit on those teams that they coached.

Where’d you get the stat from? I want to see BOS overall. They were terrible in crunch time against MIA

Not a chance I put in the work to figure that out

I found it

https://go.nba.com/mcfwr

Tatum -9.7
Jaylen -9.7
Smart -14.0
Walker - 3.0
Theiss -1.1

BOS was awful in crunch time. They constantly blew leads. Next step in this kid’s evolution is learning how to close games.

Still, not a bad 1st year as a big banana.

Turned 22 in March 2020, so started at 21.

I’m staying on my island that he and Luka are on the same tier.
