Officiating made sure the Lakers won this game.

If the Nuggets somehow extend the series, they got two more games to make sure Lakers are in the Finals.

Too many eyeballs in the Lakers fan base for the league to ignore.

I don't believe in great game-fixing conspiracies, but I do believe in both series being fairly obviously lopsided in their officiating towards a Lakers-Celtics final lol

Warriors drew some of the best ratings ever for the association..so you’re saying the refs helped them win games?

Nah, that's just for other teams.

We know about Draymond being suspended for a Finals game for BS.

But people may not recall, Curry was put in foul trouble early and then fouled out.

When is the last time you saw LBJ get in foul trouble, much less foul out of a game?

Did the Warriors get more FTAs in most of their playoffs series?

Would love to see GSW stars get put on the line 14 times a game. Or get 25 FTAs in one quarter like the Lakers routinely get. Pretty sure no other team gets that.

Lebron can't go by people any more. He tries to go through people and he draw blocking calls. Or Kawahi in the Finals last year or the playoffs this year, he's pushing off or driving his shoulder into the defender and getting put on the line repeatedly.

If Curry was treated like Lebron, he'd have a ton of 3 FTAs plays and 4-point plays. Instead he's allowed to be undercut, beaten up.

I agree, and I am not a conspiracy person. But it's definitely annoying.

Yeah it was Curry in Game 6 at Cleveland who was taken out by the officiating.

That was the game where he fouled out after a clean steal, called for the non-foul, and he threw his mouthpiece.

Warriors were coming back until that call too.

Silver didn't want the Warriors winning all the Finals matchups with Cleveland because then there would be no suspense, no ratings.

I'm sure he didn't want the next two Finals to go only 5 and 4 games but after GSW got KD, which he did NOT want to happen, he didn't have a say in the matter.

Coach Doc Rivers is out with the Clippers, sources tell ESPN.

Interesting to see how Houston and LA Clippers do next season. Something tells me there's going to be shake-up/firesale for both teams.

This is it, boys, we're ready locked-in for next season.

Wow on Rivers. That’s big news

Maybe West had a Godfather moment with everybody after the disappointing loss

No the Clippers are not doing a fire sale.

Owner has the deepest pockets in the league.

They are trying to build a stadium and they have one more year of Kawhi and PG13 before they can opt out.

He can pay any luxury tax, so if he wants he can overpay for Harrell and Morris if he wants to.

Another bad contract is Beverly.

But despite their collapse, that roster is still formidable.

I vote Mark Jackson

Right after the Clippers lost, I said to my buddy “If Doc wasn’t such a high profile coach, he’d be fired after that inexcusable playoff loss by the Clippers”....

Looks like West probably had a big say in giving Ballmer and their management the courage to move on from him.

Do I think administrative and officiating decisions directly contributed to LeBron's "miracle" win over us in 2016? Yes.

Doc probably was fired because of philosophical differences. He continued to use Harrell in the 4Q when the Nuggets were running roughshod over him inside. Ivica Zubac was available, but Doc stayed with Harrell.

It sounds like Doc should be the next coach of the Rockets and take Harrell back with him :P .

They said Ballmer initiated this, talked to some of the players. The front office, especially Franks, tried to bat for Doc.

Ballmer probably heard too much chatter on social media about Doc not being fired right away.
