Poor offensive player who has shown some flashes, but a pretty solid defender who can guard multiple positions.

I have no clue if he’s in the Grizzlies plans or not. Tough to say since he was injured and didn’t play a game for them. Just a name to watch I suppose.

Grizzlies were holding out for a first for expiring Iggy and settled for Justice. I'm sure they like him.

Well if they'll still take a first I'd give it to them, given he's physically ok.

Trade like this makes sense for us theoretically.. 22-28 year old is that age we should be looking at if we are giving away valued assets.
still learning the game

Batum is an expiring. They are looking to fill a few holes like C and SG. Although I think they are super high on Devonte don't think they will move him. Malik Monk and Bacon could be moved.

Bacon is pretty scrubby. If you look at his numbers there’s not much redeemable there. He’d have to take a massive leap just to be a competent rotation piece.

MKE: Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre
ORL: Eric Bledsoe, Robin Lopez, IND '20 21st, IND '22 2nd, IND '25 2nd
PHX: Aaron Gordon, DJ Wilson

Bucks flip Bled and picks for a competent floor general in Rubio and a bench scorer in Oubre.
Magic pick up a 1st and two 2nds by swapping two impact defenders in Gordon/Bledsoe. RoLo gets to move into the Haunted House at Disney World.
Sarver mandates cost-cutting so the Suns save $8.6M by turning Rubio/Oubre into Aaron Gordon.

I don’t mind that deal but reckon we could get it done with just one first.

Memphis made a terrible deal there, Winslow is not OK physically. He needs a ton of improvement offensively too, but that's not possible for a player that can never practice. Miami sold damaged goods

Yeah, maybe. It is Hammond after all, just felt a little light. Maybe #24 and a the Indy 2nds instead. Updated.

I'd be shocked if Phoenix did anything that drastic after the performance they had in the bubble. Probably want to build off that momentum since they've sucked for so long.

Never underestimate Robert Sarver. This is a money saving deal masquerading as a move to get younger/better, with the cherry on top of bringing a Wildcat back to AZ to sell tickets.

Agree about the Sarver factor. Also, Oubre didn't play during their bubble run.

That said, I'm not that into Rubio, and I think Gordon's stock is way down, he's lost his focus.

Bucks interested in Tyrell Terry per Keith Pompey? Would you guys trade up for him given that he’s probably not making it to 24?

I'd sit back and not try and then when he turns into an All-Star argue that there's no way Horst would've been able to get him.

DJ Wilson had a perfectly average tourny, he'll be fine.

Suns and Orlando supposedly talked Gordon at the deadline and rumor was the suns turned down oubre and a first for Gordon.

Sarver sucks and he's been cutting operation costs laying off staff and sold the gleague team. But he also has to try to put a decent product on court to get some fans in the newly renovated arena some of which he actually coughed up his own money on. Id also say he's really more penny wise pound foolish (and just a fool in general). Like back in the day he sold a 1st rounder then gave Marcus Banks like $5mil a year to play backup PG a week later. Or he'd hire cheap coaches then fire them with years left and end up paying multiple guys at once with a total cost higher than if he'd just hired a good one in the first place.

With sarver any awful thing is possible but it does seem like he actually trusts James Jones and between him and Monty Williams there seems to be adults running things and sarver has stayed very behind the scenes.

Yes, but honestly tough to say without seeing what we have to give up to move up. I'm high on Terry, I've said for a while now I want a guard that can shoot from deep with confidence.

Yes 100%. I'd rather take a shot in the dark that we hit on another star or very good player than trade the pick away in a package that probably only marginally improves us.

Really depends on the trade for me, but philosophically, if you think he's going to be a good player and he's going in the teens, trading up is required.
