Jrue/Smart/Jaylen/Tatum/Grant may be the most dreamy, switchy, beautiful defensive lineup you’ll see.

In my dream, Timelord somehow becomes as agile/switchable as Theis/Grant and as smart/savvy as Horford during the offseason.

Add in a Bey and/or Paul Reed or something from the draft and you're really cooking.

Having 8 switchable guys on the floor would be really hard to score on.

Especially if the NBA allows ALL 8 guys on the floor at the same time.

This is also the reason why I like Temple and JaMychal Green as FA acquisitions. Those two were part of the lone Clippers team (2018-19) that overachieved in the Doc era.

Won't happen but I would like the following 3-team deal between Boston, Indy, NOLA.

Boston out: Hayward/Theis/VP
Boston in: Turner/Warren

Indy out: Dipo/Turner/Warren
Indy in: Jrue/Hayward/Theis

NOLA out: Jrue
NOLA in: Dipo/VP

Throw a few picks at NOLA and it might happen. Would prefer to retain Theis as well. He is really good at what he does, but he should be coming off the bench.

I know some don’t love Beal, but he is a fantastic fit next to Tatum. And everyone knows how close they are.

Excellent secondary playmaker too. Beal/BRown/Tatum is a foolishly dangerous wing trio

Beal is a good off ball player too!

That Hawks insider I've mentioned before just said this about Hayward/Smart rumors:

Nothing for now. Maybe that will change around the draft but Boston is not interested in Oladipo is all I got for now.

Dude's info is unreal. He had Gallo to Miami rumors like a month before Woj said it.

Idk how he got it, but he gives some really good tidbits sometimes.

Yep. I'd take either.
I really want Reed, so if Danny doesn't think he lasts to 26 then it's him at 14 and Tyler at 26. If he does, Saddiq at 14, Reed at 26.

DDR?

BOS: DeMar DeRozan, 11, 18, 31 for Hayward, 14, 26, 30
DAL: Hayward for THJ, Wright, 18, 31
SAS: THJ, Wright, 14, 26, 30 for DeMar DeRozan, 11

Spurs do Spursian things with the trade down to 14, 26, 30 and a couple contracts for DDR.
BOS has 11, 18, 31.

Only thing DDR does for Boston is stop Brad from 100% relying on his offence chucking 3s. I dont hate the small move up in picks though. How many years DDR got left on his deal?

can you put some context behind this?
was there a rumour of Hayward and Smart for Dipo?

I don't think we need dipo but we could use Turner.

Expiring. That's part of the attraction.

Nice, then by the deadline you move him again for something of quality as an expiring. Thats sexy (the contract, not the player).

Just throwing this out there . . .

Smart + filler to GSW for #2 and filler. Don’t care if our filler is more than their filler - we do have three firsts . . . And I LOVE Marcus Smart. If anything, this playoffs increased his value to what I think is probably his peak value. Cash in? GSW would be interested, I think, as he fits their window and can play with any of their unique lineups.

Not sure who we take. Maybe Ball? I know the baggage but he’s a Hell of a player and his dad has shut up for two whole years.

This would be a hard one. Not necessarily one I even like myself. Just throwing it out there for some other opinions.
