I saw that SNL is on there so I gave it a shot, they have a 7 day free trial. I took the $9.99 option, I hate ads and I wanted access to everything. I thought the old SNL's would be fun to watch. Except they aren't available. Only the past few season's are on there. Nothing of the first 35+ years. They don't have much else that interests me although I still need to dig into it a little more. I'll likely cancel before the 7 days are up. Another watered down streaming service.

Awesome, thanks! I'll probably keep it for a month or two and check some of them out. I didn't do a deep dive but I didn't see much so far that would make me want to pay for another streamer.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Few weeks late on this one but Ted Lasso is a very sweet and funny show.

The Comey Rule is interesting for slightly more than casual political dudes like me. Probably worth watching (then fact-checking) no matter your political affiliation.

I have Uverse for my regular TV and like it so it's staying.

I have Netflix, Prime, HBOMax and Peacock (for now, may dump them) for streaming. I'm considering Hulu but there's only so much time in the day lol.

Any others worthy of paying for? I'm not interested in the free steamers that have ads. I hate ads. On regular networks I never watch anything live except sports. I record shows and FF through the ads.

Started it and had I known it was a Bill Lawrence joint I would have checked it out a lot sooner. That dude just knows how to make TV shows that can feel good about watching.

Anyone else give Woke a try on Hulu? Stars Lamorne Morris (Winston from New Girl), Blake Anderson (Blake from Workaholics), and some dude named T. Murph who pretty much steals every scene. Not nearly as good as Atlanta, but it has some Atlanta vibes to it IMO.

Apple TV+ is good for a month if you want to bang out a couple good series. There's the aforementioned Ted Lasso, and I really liked The Morning Show. Only $5.

Forgot about them, good idea. $5 is a bargain. I know they used to give you some free months if you bought an Apple product. I don't know if they still do but I'm getting a new iPhone next month.

Never heard of it before now but I think I'll give it a try this week based on this post. Those guys should be up my alley.

Apple TV+ has some sneaky good shows so probably worth trying out if you haven't. I really enjoyed For all mankind, Home before dark, Mythic Quest, Dickinson and Morning show.

Grade the following statement on an objectively true-to-undeniable fact scale: Doug Whitmore (50 First Dates) is Sean Astin's best performance.

Astin peaked early as Mikey from "The Goonies," and it isn't particularly close.

As a grown man I still tear up at the end of Rudy, and I hate Notre Dame.

I try to keep up to date on stuff but there's a streaming service called Topic that I'd never heard of before. I saw a headline about them this morning. It appears to be a lot of foreign stuff but I haven't really dug into it. $5.99. Maybe one day but I don't have the time to check it out.

It's whatever his character's name was on Stranger Things obviously.

I just picked up a free year subscription to Apple TV+ when I bought a new iPad Pro last week. I'll have to check some of these shows out. I saw the first episode of Morning Show when Apple TV+ launched and had a free trial, and I really liked that show from the little I saw.
