I don't know enough about Terry to comment either way but what asset are you giving to move up? We don't have that many, pretty much Donte or a future pick + 24.

Pony up & buy the Suns#10 pick (Sarver). Show
Giannis you'll spend for a winner.

From everything I’ve read, he’s a top talent in this draft in terms of skill, but the major knock on him was his size, pushing him down a bit. Well now that he’s put on a substantial amount of muscle since his season ended, I could see him realistically going top 12. Maybe a package of Bledsoe and #24 could get you into the teens, but I’m not sure how low you can get.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions - OFF SEASON EDITION
Every few years I stumble across the fact that Stephen Jackson only played 26 games for us and I'm newly astounded. The longest short tenure in the history of the franchise, and there have been some seriously long short tenures (Payton, Redick, Greivis). Jackson is the only one who feels to me like he must have been here at least 3 years.
Man we've been treated to some *trades*.

Convenient how you left out that we got out of Larry Harris' big Corey Maggette and John Salmons deals there, pessimist.
And Livingston.

So I always wanted a Center like Love. Giannis is even more athletic and faster and I believe he can catch whatever lob full court pass you throw at him.
Having said all that Giannis is still loaded with 90% of the Rebounding responsibilities...
BUT the most ridiculous and disgusting thing to watch is ... that even if he Rebounds the ball, he is still so fast that he reaches at the opponents 3pt line while all his teammates haven't even pass mid court. Opponents Wall him easily and he just waits and dribbles 4 seconds so his teammates get to their offensive spots and start the mid court offense... Such a waste of energy and talent ...
We are an older team unfortunately.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions - OFF SEASON EDITION
Letting Brogdon go has been a topic of discussion in recent weeks.
Much less talked about in this context, has been his replacement, Wes M.
Wes has been a v good defender but he is an immense dropoff as far as offense is concerned compared to Brogdon. One fifth of our starters, was a major weakness in our offense this year.
Somehow this point has been discussed much less than comparing Brogdon with Bledsoe with respect to their signings.

I'm torn on this. I generally think trading up is a bad idea. I also think there's a lot of depth at PG in this draft and a good prospect will fall to us at 24. Also, just FWIW, of the reputable mocks I've seen, one has him going 19th, one 24th to us, and one mid-2nd round. Probably need some time to see if he really requires a trade up.
Having said that, he's one of the few guys that seems getable to me that has all-star potential if he develops well so it would be very tempting to me.

It's pretty simple. If you think a guy is good enough to trade up for you do it.

I like the idea of trading up and have advocated for it in the past (like, in 2017 for Mitchell
), but Terry isn't really the kind of prospect I'd feel the necessity to do so.

Any move that would allow us to relegate Wes to a reserve SG/SF role would be a significant win this offseason. I hope thats one of the priorities at least.

It might not be a popular opinion but i would be fine with drafting either one of the duke boys in Stanley and Carey. I'd love Lewis or Terry but 24 seems way too far away.

If there's nobody compelling at 24, I'd consider trading down with Philly for 34 and 36. Players like Flynn, Pritchard, Tyler Bay, and Riller could be there - among others. I think Flynn's almost a sure thing to do well in the NBA and would fit the Bucks well.

Exact same thought crossed my mind. I believe it was Brogdon and our pick to move up to take Mitchell. But hey, at least we got DJ.
Though I disagree on Terry. He's exactly the kind of guy we need: A PG who can shoot off the dribble. I'd rather they parlay #24 for someone like CP3, but if they can't make that work, I'd be down to move up for Terry.

I still like Jahmius Ramsey at 24. He feels like a more polished Wes Matthews coming out of college.

The only reason to trade down is if you'd pick the same guy no matter if you stay put or trade down. If you want a 30's pick you buy it or trade future seconds for it.

I have a feeling the 24th pick in the draft will not be a Milwaukee Buck.

I don't think early 2nds will be available to buy this draft because they're arguably more valuable than late 1sts - because of contract differences and the depth of the draft. Philly's been known to do it, but I think they'll wise up. They also have 2 late 2nds - those are the picks they might sell.
