I think the most nervous going into a series was 2012. His feels almost as bad.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

I hope he is aggressive. We don't need this feel out and game 1 is a write off non-sense mentality that Lebron usually has. Be aggressive and win game 1.

Nope, they lost game 1 that year before the backdoor sweep. Lebron is 1-8 in Finals game 1s with the only win being against the 2011 Mavs. Goes to Heej's point about Lebron getting better as series go on which is most definitely a real thing, once he gets a chance to watch the film and see how he can really attack he gets much harder to stop.

To further support this Lebron has won 14 playoff series in his career after facing a deficit, which is the most in NBA history. Robert Horry is second with 11.

this is also why LeBron is the best game 7 player of all time

I was super nervous going into 2012. KD winning a championship before LeBron would've been devastating

This, I am not a fan of game 1 passive Lebron

Q1 fine, but game 1 as a whole, hell no

i think his passiveness will depend on whether McGee starts or not.

Personally thought it was a foregone conclusion the Heat were winning after they got by Boston.

Though KD winning before him would have looked bad for sure.

You guys think McGee starts?

I prefer Dwight, but I don’t mind giving McGee 1 try first as a feel out

Yeah, I'm not nervous for this game at all. I'm excited to see some great basketball.

Was nervous in 2012.

This LeBron now is all on borrowed time, he shouldn't even be here. He's the GOAT or one of the GOATs and nothing can change that. The only thing that would hurt his legacy is if he came out passive like in 2011.

Butterflies. The most I've had before any LeBron game/series. Here we go. For Kobe!

I got goosebumps, LETS GO LAKERS AND LEBRON

I want Lebron to win finals mvp ofc, but if AD needs to be greater for us to win, so be it

I just hope they come out guns blazing. Can't afford to drop games anymore due to passivity.

If I’m Spo I’d go to the zone straight out of top off. Lakers have obviously game planned for it but I doubt they expect it immediately

Starting Dwight might be a mistake.

There is no big low post threat for him to defend. He has made a number of defensive mistakes to start this game.
