hampton has a lot of upside, would be cool if we came out of this with him in addition to another good prospect

:D

He's got a wingspan of in between 6'10"-7'. He may not be the quickest defender but by all accounts he has a high BBIQ on the defensive end which makes him an excellent help defender which is what is important in today's NBA with all the scrambling going on when playing defense.

Ugh I liked him till you mentioned wingspan

What's wrong with wingspan?

I always get confused between Nick Anderson and Dennis Scott.

Cuz they were joined at the hip back in the day on those Orlando teams with Shaq.

underrated player in this draft. I've seen him outside the top 60 in some rankings. really solid looking shooter

Whoever gets Achiuwa is going to be extremely pleased. He's the most versatile, inside-outside 1-5 defender and ultimately may be the best on that side of the ball even coming out of a strong defensive draft class deep with considerable two way talent.

Not to mention he has quite a solid array of all around offensive game with alot of skill and talent to grow even more. Moves like a guard in a PF's frame with a strong body and quick feet he is a match up nightmare there are few players like him in a league of physical freaks.

Him and Mitch can be a ferocious front line duo on both ends of the court and Thibs would turn PA into a monster he is exactly his type of big man. It might be hard to resist taking him at 8 if the preferred guards are gone, maybe even if some still there.

Bronx boy too so....Do it.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Suns are taking a very hard look at him, and so should we. I like guys that improve each year in college, and I don't see any real holes in his game.

I was watching Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis on the floor together tonight. Creating havoc and grabbing every board and boxing everything out.

Someone explain why Wiseman and Mitch cant work?

Because we dont have a lebron.
Unless wiseman cant shoot or pass like davis.

Davis was a guard in highschool that shot up a foot , he has guard skills. Not wiseman, and he probably will never develop the skills up to ads lvl.

Great stuff.

This part is on point too

"As I've yelled about regarding Kawhi for like a decade now, the 3 to 5 prospects that come along each basketball generation with legit 3&D indicators are worth the same gamble that jumbo creators are...Because it's the same prize."

Great writeup... @8, it's easy for me. If RJ can become the beast that I think he can, he's going to need an athletic wing who can consistently hit the 3 and play good defense and unselfish. Vassell checks all the boxes for me if we stay put. AND IF (HUGE IF) Frank can reach his potential... with Thibs and Mitch. Not a bad core at all

Nothing. It’s clearly a positive if you can actually maximize it. But if you suck what does it matter? Give me the better basketball skills over the physical measurements.

That paragraph is how I feel about Nesmith.

Their floor is 3&D. They build upon it & you really got something.
