all of Lebron's teams in the East. come on man. lmao. you don't have to have such PTSD or anti-Lebron mentality to forget his time in the Eastern conference.

This is what happens when you put the worst team to ever make the finals against a team with 2 of the greatest players of all time.
Bam was getting locked up even before showing signs of "wear&tear", AD's length was too much for him. AD's length is too much for Miami

Through the years, LeBron has found KD, Kawhi on his way..and now last night we saw him go one-on-one against Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro  at times.

LeBron must sweep this, it is a total mismatch as expected.

The 2015 Warriors. Every team they faced, their starting PG was either gimpy or out injured.

Conley, Beverley, Paul and Kyrie (who only played in game 1 but they lost that one and also Kevin Love was out).

LOL, but Laker fans swear they are a disrespected 1st seed. People just don't want to see Lebron (win), myself included, but they should have been and were, heavily favoured in all their series.
Rep T Dot, till they bury me.

Gasol-Ibaka-Siakam-OG is the only team that could handle the lakers defensively.

You can only play who’s in front of you. We should know this as well as anyone. Not Lebrons fault the clippers sucked, also not his fault we couldn’t get the finals to face him and got stopped by Jaysun Tatem LOL.

Everybody better keep the same energy about injuries as last year when we won it. I suspect we won't hear anything about Miami being decimated with injuries and LBJ will be crowned the GOAT

difference being Miami was never going to win even if all their players took a senzu bean before and after every game. KD and Klay being healthy wouldve been a real series. I still think Raps would have had a great shot, but not even the most ardent Raps fan would say we'd still win with great confidence.

Wiggins is literally terrible (he’s basically like a very poor man’s Demar) and has been for his entire career. That isn’t a selling point for me.

We’ve never seen him be a 4th option. I think he’ll be better than Harrison Barnes.

Barnes was a decent defender. GSW gonna have to trade that pick and find some good role players, cause you cant go into a playoff series with no real wing defender against Lebron or Kawhi.

We still wouldn’t have nearly enough offensive firepower to keep up with them

I wonder if the crowd at the Staples Center would've cheered Dragic and Bam's injuries. Just out of curiosity.

This is the exact bias I am talking about.

Lakers would have won anyway had the Heat been healthy.

Raptors would have never had a chance if the Warriors were healthy.

Neither is based in fact.

Like you didnt even read what i wrote. I said Raps wouldve still had a great shot, but theres clearly a difference here. GSW was the fav with a talent advantage and they got injured. Lakers were the heavy fav and were showing why they were better and then Miami got injured.

Plus Davis would run circles around Gasol, he was struggling to guard the quickness of Theis and Williams on the Celtics. Miami has just as good defenders if not better in Ban/Butler/Crowder and they struggled.

ya people here really pumping our chests cause of RS success. You know who else had success against the Lakers in the RS? The Rockets. The smallball killed them, but the Lakers still dispatched them in 5. Go watch the Nuggets game against the Lakers in the bubble before the playoffs. Nuggets starters destroyed them.

You'd think after years of having RS success against Lebron only to have him destroy the Raps would make people see the difference between RS and playoffs. Siakam got shut down by Brown, you dont think AD would crap over him too? FVV couldnt do anything against the C's size, and the Lakers are bigger.

Watching the game last night the thought occurred to me that AD is currently the best player in the league. Hopefully Miami has more fight left in the tank.

If Bam is out next game. AD is just going to feast, or he will get doubled every single play at guys like Green, KCP, Caruso will get tonnes of easy 3s.

To be honest, the way the Lakers are playing Miami, it definitely looks like the Lakers had it easy.

But they did just beat a Denver team who took out the Clippers. And they did beat a high scoring Portland team.

The Lakers are a weird bunch of talents all mixed up together. But Anthony Davis is looking like he's elevating himself to elite level.

You can't blame Miami for looking outclassed or call them weak.

Miami took out the Bucks. Took out the Celtics. We couldn't take out the Celts and they did in 6 games.

So yeah, I do think the Lakers are a beast of a team, and probably very underrated. They all played phenomenal yesterday.

Yes, hopefully Bam is ready to play. Green really lives up to his name "Icey-Hot".

Return to Toronto Raptors
