Re: NBA Finals - Lakers V Miami
Like I said, Bam gets two bogus fouls while AD is pushing people in the back for offensive rebounds after the Heat get out to a lead.
Lakers are shooting the lights out but the officiating made sure Miami wasn't going to be able to defend.

Next year, if Deni doesn't hit his shots, we have 0 chance vs lakers. Draymond or whoever is the C will not save us. Draymond is not going to Guard Lebron, Ad and the other lakers C on the floor. We going to get outrebounded every night and 6'5" Draymond is going to wear down before game 3

The heat is not defending three point line even when they go small, it does not make sense..Lebron/AD is too experieinced and too good for them to handle. If you cant stop Lebron/AD, at least put up some effort vs Pope, Green ..

Dwight does all the physical stuff that ad doesn’t want to do. If we don’t sign Dwight someone else needs to sign him off the lakers.

This Lakers team is like the Kobe-Gasol team. That Lakers team had Gasol-Bynum-Odom covering 48 minutes at the big spots pounding teams away inside as Kobe drilled the tough outside shots and got Fisher and the small forwards easy 3’s. This Lakers team is similar. That Lakers team eventually got ousted because the Mavs went all in on getting size and negated some of those easy points in the paint and forced them into a shoot out. That Mavs team also used that size to force a LeBron into shooting jumpers. The Spurs did well forcing LeBron into jump shots as well in the years after.

Anybody still think Wiseman is not our pick if available and we keep the pick?
As my wife says, size matters.

I always thought it is the most natural choice. still do.
We need a big, and now that the Marc Gasol dream is over, we better hit gold with Wiseman if he will be available(if Minny won't trade their pick it should be).
Also, sadly, i think the finals are over before they started, with Bam hobbled and Dragic probably out for the rest of the series.

Not a long list of NBA champions who have starters miss games in the Finals. Availability pretty much tells the story of the Warrior's 5 series, and I don't know how far back you have to go to find a winner who overcame more injuries than their opponent.

You guys really think Draymond will defend AD? AD has become an elite offensive player. Draymond is just too short and won't bother AD anymore

Kendrick Nunn should be on our team, would’ve been a great spark plug scorer.
Chris Boucher and Danuel House should also be on our team.

Re: NBA Finals - Lakers V Miami
The previous game Bam had to box out Howard, contest AD, and help with LeBron on the drive and it was such an overwhelming task for him that they got destroyed on defense.
Today the Heat played the stretch 5's of Olynk more and got Leonard in, them being able to shoot 3's made it harder for the Lakers to go big. That helped the Heat on both ends.
If Bam comes back and starts at power forward with Olynk-Leonard at center I think they will win game 3. The reason is Davis is to big for the smaller forwards like Crowder to defend and they are incapable of swapping to defend Howard.
The thing I noticed especially today were how many shots in the paint the Heat passed up to pass out to perimeter guys who took further more contested shots. Just the thought of being blocked prevented the Heat from taking a lot of looks that looked good to me. That's why you want a big shot blocker, it's not just the number of blocks but the mental block it puts on offensive players.

I Dunno what needs to happen. One of Butler, Crowder or Duncan needs to go to the bench. Their starting line up is too smal. But I like Bam at 4 and KO at 5. It's just that if they do not stagger their minutes, then they do not have a back up 5

Wiseman pls.
I remember Lakers size absolutely manhandling us three games in a row last preseason. All basically over after the first quarter.
