He may not have been playing football for many years but he aged.

You clearly didn't watch much of the game. He consistently got pressure on Wilson with 3 sacks, 4 QB hits, 2 tackles for loss, and a pass deflection.

He had an incredible game. Aikman was singing his praises all game.

Wilson had all day on the game-winning TD pass and Metcalf went from left to right on a long, cross/post/corner pattern through the zone.

Wilson just waited for him to cross all the way across the field.

I didn’t even watch the final minutes of that Seachickens vs Cowgirls...

If I were a betting man I would say Seattle’s first loss of the season will come in Week 7 @ Arizona.. But there is a chance for an upset on SNF in Week 5 vs the Vikings.

Fitzmagic is gonna light us up next week. We might be the two most injured teams at the moment.

Clearly you and Bingo don't actually watch their games. He's throwing a lot of screens. McVay doesn't even dare to make adjustments. The screens in the first half weren't working for the Rams, but McVay continued to call them relentlessly which eventually turned out to be a good decision.

HAKEEM BUTLER
WR, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Eagles signed TE Hakeem Butler off the Panthers' practice squad.

The Eagles are converting wideout Butler to tight end. The No. 103 overall pick of last year's draft, Butler spent Arizona's entire 2019 season on injured reserve with a finger injury, a highly-unusual occurrence. He then failed to make the Cardinals' practice squad after being waived this summer. He had been cooling his heels in Carolina. The position switch is certainly in line with Butler's 6-foot-5, 225-pound frame, though he does not lack for high-end athleticism. The Eagles are hoping they have a Darren Waller on their hands, but fantasy players shouldn't be surprised if Butler sees zero targets during Dallas Goedert's (ankle) absence. This is almost certainly a move made with the long-term in mind. This is the stuff Dynasty league fliers are made of.

Butler is a guy I would have liked to see them take a look at. Not making AZ isn't all much of a knock as they have incredible depth at WR given what they had, their draft last year (drafted three guys), and the addition of Hopkins. Granted he lost out to a former 6th round pick and undrafted player at the position. Though failing to make the PS does raise some eyebrows, as they kept four WRs there.

Feels like the season is caving in. It was a valiant effort, but it's not working.

Fins had Seattle on the ropes all the way until the 4th quarter, they won’t be an easy opponent next Sunday that’s for sure

BILL O'BRIEN
C, HOUSTON TEXANS

Houston Chronicle's John McClain reports Texans coach Bill O'Brien is expected to call plays for the rest of the season.

O'Brien communicated plays directly to Deshaun Watson for the first time all year in Sunday's 31-23 loss to Minnesota, likely convincing himself to take the reigns from OC Tim Kelly altogether. Kelly will reportedly stay involved in the team's "game-planning." Houston's 23 points were a season-high mark, but the play-calling — a role O'Brien has already failed at during his nightmarish tenure with the Texans — is the least of the organization's worries. Miami's front office is popping champagne upon hearing this news since the team owns Houston's first- and second-round picks for the 2021 draft.

BILL O'BRIEN
C, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT

Texans fired coach and GM Bill O'Brien.

O'Brien comically promoted himself to play-calling duties right before owner Cal McNair stepped in and ended the former's reign of terror altogether. Romeo Crennel was promoted to interim coach effective immediately. O'Brien, +2,500 to be the first coach fired heading into the year, was reportedly not seeing "eye to eye" with EVP/character coach Jack Easterby, who remains close to McNair. Whatever the case, O'Brien leaves behind a mishmash of veteran pieces he (and only he) envisioned could contend long-term without a single dynamic rookie, DeAndre Hopkins, or a 2021 first- and second-round pick. It won't be a blemish on Crennel's resume if he's unable to right the 0-4 wreckage left behind. Deshaun Watson's desire to stay in Houston throughout his career is suddenly trending up.
