Horrible play for us tonight. So many sloppy TO's by us. I expect next game to not be this bad for AD and Bron.

I don't think I want danny green starting next game. There is a reason he didn't come back

Yeah, I know AD got in foul trouble and didn't score much, but LeBron was easily as bad or worse... Just poor decision making and lackluster play... Dude blew 2 layups...

AD hasn't been playing well for a game and a half now... He needs to right the ship or we may actually be in trouble, and I know I'm going to be on an island here, but I think He and LeBron aren't on the same page about something right now... Not seeing any chemistry there for the first time all season. Which scares me quite a bit...

Hopefully it was just a ratings game and next one we'll come back like we played the first...

What they aren’t on the right page with is AD was leading him in the finals mvp recognition. That’s never happened before. He chased that triple double because it would have beat ADs game 1. And you can’t say he hasn’t chased them because he knocked the ball out Kuzma and Morris hands tonight on rebounds they would have had.

Looking back at it I think Vogel should have challenged that 3rd foul on AD

I still give it to Jimmy Butler. If this wasn’t a bubble game damn that Miami crowd would have loved him and how hard he competed out there. Defended Lebron, played with barely sitting, dropped 40, hit the glass, and was primary playmaker. Nothing but respect for him

It's an NBA championship, that's so hard to get. They had to be the best team in the NBA to get to the top of the pyramid.

Agreed. I had them in 5 with Dragic and Bam playing so I don't see why they should drop 1, when their other two are injured.
I get it, dropping a game is definitely possible. This team currently looks engaged. We shot like crap from the 3 last game and it never really felt like we were going to lose even though the Heat hung around 10pts. I think we play better defense this game and take their souls so it can be finished by game 4.

Never expect to beat any team in the NBA. These players are good enough to beat any team if you aren't playing your best.

This one's on LeBron. What a horrible clumsy game by him.

The argument go be Kobe, Jordan, Bird, Magic stood there and took the L on the court and didn’t run away from cameras after getting owned by Jimmy on both ends.

LeBron has always done the storm off when angry at a loss since he was in the league. If he didn't do it now it be would not a good sign. It would be apathy.

Even if Bam and Goran play, if the Lakers play with intensity specially on the defensive end, they are the better team. Bigger, stronger, deeper, and more talented, and should win.
On the other hand, the Heat can win even without Bam and Goran if the Lakers play lackadaisically, and without intensity.

I don't see LBJ and AD allowing complacency to set in. Same with Rondo and KCP and Green.
These vets see blood in the water and I expect ferocious intensity.

I sure hope you’re right. AD is so young and dominant though as if he’s playing against shorter college players the way he scores and rebound easily on put backs etc that it’s possible he gets bored in the first half at least. Olynik and Crowder might instigate something by playing extra physical.. anything to get get some kind of edge. Last year’s finals outcome were not as once sided until KD and Klay got injured so this game should not be taken for granted. I can see Lebron wanting to finish this asap.

Huh, AD was freaking flat , 0 blocks 5 rebs, 15 points....-26?

I’m glad we are here but damn I can’t help but wonder what this team would have been like had we approached Jimmy at the start of free agency with all our cap space over Kawhi ... damn that would have been special

Kawhi ain’t stupid either. That’s the reason he wanted Jimmy before PG13 too

It was game 2. Every game 2 is when they wore them. The finals game 2 just occurred during the week

Well the first time they wore it in the playoffs was game 4 versus Portland and yes it was Kobe day too... it’s just that this game 3 was almost similar to the game3 versus Denver imo, seems like a “scheduled loss”

Why they never went back to mixing it up by playing zone gaps in the middle and baseline is beyond me. They just did isos and swings for threes, not variety whatsoever

Thought that'll change with Bron and Rondo together but nope, Bron initiated still

- Jimmy Butler had one of the best Finals games in history with 40 Points/13 Assists/10 Rebounds/2 Steals/2 Blocks/70 FG%.

- Both AD and Bron played like ass.

One of these two will never happen again in this series.

Lakers in 5.

The next few days will be full of stupid hot takes, but this team has shown that after a bad game in the bubble they win at least 2 straight.
