i know exactly what he's doing. it's all about defending the triangle. correct. but golden state pre-durant did happen. there's multiple ways to win. he just wants to act like his way is the only way so he can pretend he's smarter than everyone else.
And then they needed a midrange player in Durant to win 2 more.
They didn’t need Durant. Durant needed them.
