The good thing is even if goodboy gets us a championship, he still wouldn't qualify for 4 game win streak banner

Why does Butler not shoot the ball when Davis way under the screen? Isn’t he a better 3pt shooter than say Bron and even he shoots it anytime someone goes under the screen.

I didn’t think Butler was that bad of a 3pt shooter.

Nah it's just their regular Mamba jerseys, they wore them before.
They're just undefeated in those jerseys and they think they'll still be after game 5.

If they only knew....

Nah, he’s not on Bron’s level as a shooter. Midrange? Maybe, but even then Jimmy has largely neglected midrange this year in order to get to the paint, get to the line, and attract attention for kick outs to our shooters. It’s a big part of why he’s had career highs in both FTA per and assists per.

For context, Bron averaged 2.2 threes per game on 34.8% 3FG. Jimmy averaged 0.5 theees per game on 24.4%. He’s been better in the playoffs, but it’s still not a strength for him. Lakers would be happy for him to be chucking triples.

It sure looks good when the ball leaves his hands tho.
I think for the most part it's a mental thing for Butler, he's got good enough mechanics on his shot, he just don't believe in himself as much as he should.
I've seen him miss open 3 point shots because he hesitates at first.

Let's play predict the ref's :D Here are refs that have already put their grubby fingerprints in this series.

Gm1: Davis, Fitzgerald, Tiven.
Gm2: Capers, Guthrie, Lewis.
Gm3: Foster, Brothers, Fraher.
Gm4: Zarba, Goble, Brown.

If It's a Home team win (Lakers) i predict: Foster+Brothers combo. These two are combined 13-11 for Home team these PO's. Are 3-0 for Home team since Con. Finals. & 1-0 for Home team in NBA Finals. Flawless for the home team since Con finals!

If it's a Road team win (Miami) i predict: Capers+Guthrie combo. They are a combined 11-22 for Road team these PO's. Are 3-0 for Road team since Con. Finals. & 1-0 for Road team in NBA Finals. Again, Flawless for Road team since Con finals.

Home LAL win: Foster+Brothers

Road MIA win: Capers+Guthrie

Alternative

MIA win: Davis+Fitzgerald

For what it's worth i wager on NBA. Here's my record.

18-5 Playoffs
7-0 Streak
7-1 NBA Finals
9-3 Con. Finals

I'm hitting quite a good % & base some of my plays w/ officiating crew stats in mind :)
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Would have been great to have more of our 'others' be high IQ player like Ronna-- We have Iggy tho, could've used some more vets of that ilk but those young guys are battling rn

Sucks that we're undermanned, but Lakeshow deserves their chip for playing hard and making steadfast corrections every step of the way. That 3 at the end of the 4th will be remembered as a turning point last game, but Davis on Butler, baiting him to take the 3 and taking away the paint was a masterful adjustment, as well as going small with Kieff at the 4. No telling how this ends, just want to see our boys fight and maybe a little more ingenuity from Spo-- cause we're going to need it

Bam's a soldier; politics shouldn't take any precedence in his contract extension, but how do you not give it to him right away after how hard he's fought in these playoffs

Well theres a laundromat in the bubble, they can get it washed and try again on Sunday. When teams try to celebrate early like that, it always comes to bite them in the ass.

He was pretty good in Minny and he's hit some clutch 3s in Philly as well. He has it in him but he's definitely more focused on drives with this particular team. Still if he's baited to shoot that open, he's gotta take some with confidence and make them pay.
