Mitch and both Dallas picks probably could get it done.

KP just got surgery on his knee. Dallas might miss the playoffs next year if his health problems persist, meaning the pick could fall in the lottery. With next year's draft being stacked and this year's draft being weak af, I think it would be incredibly shortsighted to trade next year's Dallas unprotected pick AND Mitch for a player who shot 37% in the Australian league and probably wouldn't be a top 5 pick in a good draft.

We have to give to get, so one of those 21 firsts would have to go and I’d rather trade the Dallas pick. Luka alone will make Dallas a top 4 seed at minimum with or without porzingis so don’t delude yourself into thinking otherwise.

Lamelo is worth it and hopefully leon/www think so too.

Is he? Word is that some of those teams don't want to be in the position to have to pick him. Immense talent but with a "too cool for school" attitude and lacking certain fundamentals. Risky pick IMO.

Nobody in this draft worth it lol, just sit pretty and take who comes your way. Maybe try and find a reasonable way to move up from 27

I like Neismith but it seems like a reach. I feel if we trade down its going to be for Kira as he already has a connection with Kenny Payne. Also I think Kira will move up the draft board the closer we get to the draft so we might just draft him at 8. I still don't know why he is listed as a mid first round pick. if he really added 15 pounds that is huge. he definitely has a frame to get bigger, he is 6'3. Getting to 185-190 pounds shouldnt be a problem for a 6'3 guy.

I wish I could bet in Vegas on who has a better NBA career ..Edwards or Okoro..This is a no brainer and I’d get great odds..

I always root for the Knicks to finally improve, because there’s nothing like watching winning basketball at the Garden..Maybe Okoro Will slip to you guys

That's what I and quite a few other Knick fans are hoping. I see him being one of the better players form this draft. If his shot comes around he's a perennial all star imo

isn't it safe to say Nesmith floor is JJ Reddick and his ceiling is Klay. How are we not all over this guy?

If we stay @ 8 (and Hayes & Wiseman are gone)... I'm staying with my initial- Vassell. We can go around and around and around but according to reports,
*Thibs likes Frank AND Smith. Why else is Chris Jackson working with him?
* RJ needs someone who can help space the floor
* Thibs likes defense

* Vassell is arguably one of the best and most athletic wing defenders in this year’s draft. He can guard on-ball and off-ball, with a 6’10” wingspan that projects him to guard ‘1’ through ‘4’ at the next level.

* The one knock that I've seen is that he can't create for himself. That may not be a bad thing if we make RJ the focal point of the offense

hopefully even in that case he can parlay his athleticism and defensive instincts and skill at the rim and still be a really solid player. jimmy butler shoots 24% from 3 and he's ok and that's a comparison being thrown around

Some of these takes on Lamelo Ball, my gosh you'd think we're talking about some sure shot franchise player like AD or Zion.

The kid has an awful shot selection, was a poor shooter in a relatively weak pro league. It would've been best for him to stay at CHino Hills, graduated from there and played a year of college ball at maybe somewhere like UCLA. He probably could've been a much more polished prospect than he is now.

He's not even better than Lonzo at his age. The only real thing Lamelo has going for him is his height.

Those that are enamored with him, have you actually seen him play or just watched highlights of him? Are you not concerned with his defensive issues? He's awful on that end of the court. I guess people are just clamoring for the next shiny new toy regardless of how flawed it is. He also has a piss poor motor and is known to disappear in games all the time.

I will say he does have good court vision and passing ability, but that alone shouldn't make him a #1 pick. This is a weak draft but there's plenty of solid players that can be had in the middle to the end of the 1st round.

...so a pretty damn good player?

A phased out player in 2020

man, Mitch can defend the perimeter and the other 2 can not. that is the difference.

People also forget his motor for some reason. That guy plays each possession like his life is on the line.
