Edit: Good draft pick? Shouldn't we have went D#?

Seems like Sandin and Robertson will both pan out, so I trust Dubas here. I like that he'll be able to play in the KHL with so much uncertainty in North America about developmental leagues.

Ah good point, Yeah I just posted an article from ESPN about no grass roots/amateur sports being played is going to be a problem

in a couple of years(For MMA/boxing & wrestling).

But same goes for NHL/NBA/NFL.

Well the NCAA is having *some* football but we will see how that pans out.

In so far as I know there's no AHL or Canadian Hockey League season planned so far?

The full draft makes the strategy obvious. Of course, the bet is that these Canadian prospects will largely stagnate in development, and that's unlikely. The Leafs have completely bombed in the later rounds in the draft during this Shanaplan era. Our only roster player is Pierre Engvall (7th round in 2014). This is Dubas' 3rd draft, so we should start to see some results soon.

Both moves are fine. I'm not sure how they get better, or harder to play against with what they've done so far.

Now there's some further clarity. Johnson moved out to clear cap. Bogosian to play that 3rd pairing D-man role. I mean, their defensive depth was horrendous last year, so I'm all for adding some more experience and Bogosian is a physical presence.

Out of Kapanen, Johnson and Kerfoot I think Kerfoot was easily the worst of the three. They got nothing significant that can help them this year for Kapanen or Johnson (I know they got a borderline prospect for Johnson, but he's not someone they can rely on at this moment). It's hard to say they got better, but they'll be different.

Raptors denied to play in Toronto, so most likely Leafs will be denied as well how much uproar will there be over that?

Leafs are more popular then the Raptors so.

Or is NHL going to do hybrid bubbles for the Canadian teams?

1 week left & Ontario hasn't accepted the plan yet.
