Anyway **** the Lakers and go heat.

It's funny, I've never thought as Davis as soft...not softer than Ayton. The last video I want to watch to be convinced is one with a picture of Broussard and Bayless.

I'm sure you have seen the many threads on GB talking about him not being able to take advantage of smaller players, relying too much on fadeways, not being a 1st option, etc. Many things you can see here said for Ayton.

Also Barkley been there, done that probably knows better what he's talking about than me or you.

I don't like big men who play below their size and Ayton at least looks stronger if not tougher, but to each their own.

Even Lakers fan think he's soft. He takes a lot of fadeaway and mid range jumper. Even in this playoff, the majority of his game is coming from the perimeter. I don't think being soft is a bad thing if you're very skilled.

The Lakers are super lucky that AD is catching fire. AD was dreadful in the bubble games, like a good chunk of other players (Lou Williams, Montrell, George, Kemba, etc). But he caught fire at the right time. Without his shooting stroke, the Lakers would have been long gone.

Well, you can say the same about small ball - it works especially when you have players like Curry, Klay and Durant on your team. The warriors still had a true C in the starting lineup. In the end top talent playing good team basketball wins.

The Warriors death lineup was with Draymond at C and Iggy in there. LeBron has made the finals every year for nearly a decade except when he's injured...it's pretty ridiculous to say they are making it because they play "big". And in my opinion, even though you think he's soft, AD is the best player he's played with.

But even when AD played with Cousins..two great big guys, they still barely cracked the playoffs.

I don't know how big you want to play but we basically play small ball with Cam or Oubre at the 4 and I think that works best for us rather than try to play Saric or Baynes with Ayton.

I'm perfectly fine with this lineup. It's actually Ayton's presence that allows to go small at the PF position and not sure it's really a small ball when you have a 7-footer in there and don't get outrebounded constantly. Houston tried going ultra-small and they were not better than with Capela, who's not exactly a great big. Yes, the league created a disbalance by shifting the game in favor of the wings, but Cs are still valuable, and personally bigs trying to play like wings most of the time makes the game less appealing to me.

These headlines "kobe prepared AD for this moment" make me sick. They use it because he's dead. If he doesn't die it's never mentioned. Enough of that BS. Wait till LeBron leaves and AD is a loser again

Kendrick Nunn looks like a garbage player. Looks like covid took all his basketball talents away.

How is Udonis Haslem still on the Heat roster? Dude has to be 80 years old by now.

They're probably still paying him back for a big pay-cut he took to let the big 3 form there.

That is confirmed. Heat are basically on the record saying that he is on the roster as long as he wants to.
(Plus I imagine he is an assistant coach for good salary as long as he wants to, when he wants to).
Good for them.

I had a 13 game winning streak on ESPN's 'beat the streak'. The Lakers loss ended that.
But 13 is my fav number (thanks to Nash), so at least LA lost.

I would LOVE to see the Lakers lose the next 2. All talk about LeBron being the GOAT would be over and done.

I was just thinking the other day how I hate that Markieff freakin Morris is gonna get a ring that too over Dragic.

Really hope Miami comes back and takes it but realistically I don’t think it happens.

At least Dudley would get a ring though :D

I didn't realize Lionel Hollins was on LA's staff. Cool he got a ring (though I dunno if he had one before).
Kidd with his first as a coach.

Dwight Howard feels like the last of his breed. The old school type center who carried a team to the finals. Happy he can cap his career with a ring

Jared Dudley with tons of behind the scenes stuff from the bubble. I only listened to maybe 30 minutes but it's really fascinating
