It makes us worse and gives up the only young guy in our top 8 players. I don't want Lillard very much, but I can see an argument for him. I can't see an argument for Gibson or Smith.
I don't think it makes us worse when you consider what Bledsoe gives us in the playoffs and how it would unlock Giannis in the playoffs. Lillard/Giannis would be the most devastating PnR duo, or I guess 2nd to LBJ/AD when they go to it. Would be tough giving up Donte but you don't trade for top 10 guys in their prime without giving up real stuff. Taj has a TO for 20-21 and DSJ is just salary filler.
Of course this all would hinge on Giannis recruiting and Lillard asking out of Portland.
