Yeah I completely disagree. Nobody was game planning for us? What? That might explain a surprising regular season but the playoffs are all about game planning
Running through the East 12-3 and then taking 2 games in the Finals with a crippled squad isn't the kind of fluke you're making it out to be
And we could add a whale to this roster without sacrificing our core assets. And yes, I think that would put us over the top but if you don't, that's fine agree to disagree
Yes agree to disagree because you keep desperately using words I never did to bolster your opinion. Who said anything about a fluke? I said we literally came out of nowhere and yes, we were not being game planned for or an expected threat. There is an edge to that. Next year other teams with better talent will get better just like we will. We will also be on others radar. And when you don't have the talent to overcome any type of game planning, it can get ugly.
But by all means, feel free to believe we're a lock for another championship run.
Makes no sense. The playoffs are all about game planning, no one catches anyone by surprise in a best of 7 series
Teams literally game plan all year against major competitors to their championship hopes. They literally go out and get certain players to better compete or overpower them. You are literally doing that in this thread. But telling me in a 7 game series everything is accounted for.
Most teams didn't even know enough about us to prepare for us enough to learn how to play against a simple zone. It took Boston 5 games to even come up with something. They knew nothing about like half our rotation except from what they started to see in the bubble. You think if we were considered major threats from day one like a Lakers or Clippers, that happens? OK.
Lie to yourself and not me. Because what I'm saying is facts.
