That's amazing. Lots of sacrifices had to be made from several parties. That was well done. Imagine if the level of competence of leaders outside the NBA approached this just even a little...

And obviously great defender in younger Iggy. Sure Draymond Green playing center was their best lineup but they didn't have all of their eggs in that basket.

Celtics desperately need a great big for the elite levels of playoff basketball. Miami appeared "big" vs the Celtics but they were overmatched in terms of size vs LA.

And **** Brad for not figuring this Heat team out or getting his damn team to play the right way consistently. ****. These **** better make the finals next year and at least give us a shot at stopping them from overtaking us next year.

Is that Yahoo headline even accurate? It just doesn't make sense that Dion Waiters even could have gotten a ring if the Heat won.

It has happened in the past. Anderson Varejao was on the Cavs and Warriors in 2016. I wanna say the Cavs offered him the ring, but he turned it down

I knew the Lakers would win tonight. My parents accidentally smashed my souvenir Boston Tea Muesuem and Ship cup that I got when I visited Boston with my ex 5 years ago. It's a bad omen all around

Don’t tell me the lakers have money to add pieces in the offseason. It’s ridiculous how they won the draft lottery and where able to send some of those pieces for Anthony Davis . I’m so sick of lala land. There’s other teams.

This is a bit of unfair assessment considering we went hard after KD (who would've been paired with another all-star big in Horford) and AD (playing smallball C for the Lakers now).

I think a more precise evaluation of their philosophy/approach is they don't care much about non-game-changing or non-modern era bigs (Dwight, Whiteside, Valanciunas, Vucevic, etc). If given the chance, I think they'll chase after a Jokic, KAT, or Embiid via trade/FA. Bogut didn't play much and was a negative in the Finals series they won in 2015. Draymond was really the one that anchored them when it mattered. Dwight barely played in this Finals series too. And was so bad whenever he was on the floor.

What's hurting us more is our obsession with tiny scoring guards who can be liabilities on defense deep in the playoffs.

I watched 2 games. Honestly, lots of guys seem to be bothered by LAL winning. I kinda don't care, and didn't care as long as we aren't in the Finals. I had that "whoever wins, wins" mentality since we got eliminated.

Kemba, Edwards and Waters jeez! It’s one thing to over help with Theis against Bam, but to also worry about Kemba? That’s just too much sometimes. Although the heat have guys that are poor defensively, and yet Spo hid them very well against us. Not so much against the Lakers.

Yup exactly! The cavs teied to give varejao a ring in ‘16, he declined. The following year, he was cut before the playoffs, the warriors offered a ring and he accepted it. On his record, he was never an nba champion.
