lebron's complete lack of self-awareness and somehow delusional to the point of playing the victim card is baffling for me.

Look it’s disappointing how we played and how Jimmy played. Not gonna lie. But this team is incomplete, there are serious gaps and we made it this far. LeBeta thought it was going to be easy and we made his a-hole pucker. Our window to contend is just opening, his is closing. In the end, Miami Heat >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Delonte West’s stepson.

He will only feel respected when he’s told he’s better than MJ. The difference between him and Kobe is that Kobe said there would be no Kobe without MJ. In LeBron’s mind, he thinks traveled to the past in a DeLorean, humiliated MJ in a 1 on 1 game and that motivated MJ to become second best.

He has always been such a drama queen. Says anything for a soundbite/headline.

I along with 99% of fans who watch sports except maybe Skip Bayless respect what he has done throughout his career and especially for this franchise. Also respect his voice and leadership away from basketball.

But there are things i dont respect. For one, almost everyone here predicted with 3-4 minutes left in the THIRD quarter, when the Lakers were up 36 points, that Lebron would play 10 minutes in the fourth to pad his stats. And look, he did it.

Then on top of padding his stats, he starts showboating on an uncontested dunk when the game was over. He then proceeded to miss a long range three pointer with about 2 minutes left, grabbed the rebound and went for the layup to increase his stats.

Those are things that i dont respect. I dont care if it makes me sound bitter, the game is over and the team you beat were not favored to win a single game against the Bucks, Celtics and now your team. And they still took your ass to Game 6 in the Finals.

The last two championships hes won something always came up that made it uneven. Andrew Bogut gets injured, Draymond Green gets suspended.

Bam and Goran gets injured. It is survival of the fittest but he definitely had lots of favorable things go his way on his last two championships

I don’t like it. I like our guys and I don’t think we need both Lillard and Giannis alongside Butler to win.

Give me Butler/Bam/Embiid instead.

I don’t care for the stat padding and the show boating. I don’t even care for what he said post game. He’s one hell of a player and they won fair and square. Hats off to the Lakers.

But like you said, he’s a self-centered drama queen who always plays the victim role, and he’s been like that for years now. That’s when I stopped being a fan.

AD pretty much showed that a big who can shoot is a difference maker. definitely felt helpless when he was grabbing offensive rebounds over a couple of our guys.

Ibaka is a free agent and will be out of our price range though? We might have to settle for Luke Babbitt :dontknow:

AD's not just a big that can shoot...

Right. He's an ultimate cheat code esp. against a smaller team like ours. He's so long and pretty agile for his size. Probably need a KG caliber equal unicorn to effectively contain him one-on-one (which ain't happening). Too bad that his leg didn't touch Rob's shin again tonight coz being fragile seems to be his only weakness.

Looking ahead we probably could use a decent big to get through the reg szn though.. it's just exhausting otherwise. Myers was too slow and too injured. Like the Lakers basically ended up using McGee and Dwight to get AD through the reg szn. I thought that was  at first when they went small in the playoffs but it worked out for em smh

idk why kelly didn't play more in the regular season. I know he was injured in preseason, but he healed up after a month or so

idk if I would start him next season, but hey we survived with meyers. and offense would be amazing

Probably, I'd say get a stretch 5, move Bam to the 4 and force him to shoot. But this obsessing over getting another big is moot imo. We need talent otherwise it's always an uphill battle. Using Yimmy like he's a bar of soap isn't the recipe

Let’s retool by adding Cousins and LMA to the roster.

Herro/Dragic
Robinson/KZ
Jimmy/Iggy/HiIl
Bam/Crowder/Hill
Cousins/LMA

20th pick, Kelly and Nunn enough for 1 year rental LMA?

Oof. That's a hard end to the season. No complaints. the better team won. We gave them a fight, and caught the league's attention. We're a Giannis away IMO. Assface Vogel gets a ring, but I'd like a rematch next season, so we can crush his soul again.

I love this Heat team. I'm proud of what they accomplished this season. Hats off to Jimmy and dem boys for buying into the culture, and playing as a team. Everyone should have their offseason homework assignments, on what to improve to come back stronger next season. Another trip to the Finals has to be the baseline expectation right now. Let's go HEAT!
