You also take sabbaticals and contemplated leaving fairly recently. I'm in this for the long haul. Some people don't care for certain reasons. Others care for certain reasons.

But at the end of the day, right is right and wrong is wrong. Even if you don't care or if the fuggery impacts you directly or not. Is it productive for the league? Is it operating in good faith.

The general sentiment is since Hoffa is active, put some time/work into the profiles, and his schtick is entertaining, and it was a long offseason then it's harmless/innocent.

But usually the unchecked dog at some point turns right around and goes straight up the leash.

People have lives outside of here my guy..personally this has not been a great year for me which is why I wasn't around. And I was only gone for this offseason really.

I def have a life outside of the forum. Kids, spouse, pets, business to run, all that. Even took two losses in my fam during COVID.

But for some, this place can also serve as the sanctuary from all the madness going on in the world. From social injustice, to an all time worst president.

All those factors lead to me taking this competition seriously rather than the other way around. But it's all perspective. But you stated you don't gaf so I'm stating why I do.

Fair enough..everyone is going to have different opinions and different ways on how they view the game.

Personally I'm sure we all have had a lot going on addition to the general social/political dissaray the country is in....and everyone uses this board/game for different reasons.

he's really just hurting himself. Because you can only have so much value but eventually you have to bust a nut on a star. If its takes overspending so be it. We know what runs the NBA. Cap space is only as good as how you spend it. having 15 great value guys probably still wont be 2-3 stars and 5 role players. He had a good value team and still didn't make the playoffs. He's going to have to committ to spending that money on a star to make a legit run.

Ja will continue to progress, if siakam and freddy continue to avg 13 and 6 points respectively it doesn't matter if I get another star id still suck, and Vuc is a SIM beast I just have to figure out the right role for him, maybe one where siakam walks at the end of next season and I give the front court to JJJ and Vuc and Sabo...

Here is where I stand:

Hoffa during the FA period was garbage...asking other teams to bid on players because they were too cheap.

Hoffa doing FA profiles I don't really have too much an issue with because I don't see it any different then any of us commenting on trades and who we like and who we don't like. I think activity is good for the league because we also do complain about GM's that never show up unless they are bat signaled and don't really participate in the game.

If during the free agent period hoffa is asking teams to bid on players I will 100% say that is BS and should not be allowed. I feel a FA profile is innocent and is his opinion just like me asking Melo to do a mock draft preview is innocent and opinion. But if someone during the draft says I can't believe this guy is slipping that I feel is where I would draw the line. Like no offense to someone doing a mock draft but that isn't going to change my opinion on what to do. At all and I would expect that to be the same across the entire league.

I wouldn’t do a mock draft if I had a pick. I only did it solely to add commentary to the league. That’s the difference between me and Hoffa. He is doing his player profiles for selfish reasons. I have no benefit in this

Hoffa has beef with 2010 so it’s obvious he’s trying to make him lose his free agents by repeatedly reposting the Raptors free agents profiles. Why? So he can make the playoffs over him. And then he’s advertising other teams players to make sure there is not a market for Siakam next year and he can resign him for cheap. How do y’all not see this? And then as usual, he will make sure certain players don’t go for cheap when the actual free agency starts by publicly announcing bids, which completely defeats the purpose of bidding on players privately via pm. Everything Hoffa does is in bad faith.
