They still got people believing Frank Ntilikina is Marcus Smart too.

If Knox were good or had potential, he’d be the centerpiece for the Knicks, not a guy they’d be name dropping in trades.

Kevin Knox sucks. On that, we can all agree.

I'd still take a flier on Frank, I would not use a roster spot on Knox. Frank is at least an effective defender.

Jordan Loyd has gotten so much better. His range is insane. NBA player.

We just hand Boston a dynasty if Giannis doesn't supermax this year?

That's a losers' mentality. Create a winning roster for the season, get a championship & let him make his decision.

If Giannis leaves, the Bucks wont be relevant until the late 2020s at the earliest due to us sending off pieces and draft picks to keep him happy with ancillary players.

If he says he wont re-sign.. it's time to move on and recoup the greatest return we can. Even if we trade him to Minnesota for KAT and the #1 pick.. it's a reboot that he would have forced us into. We can't just hold on to him for a year with a clearly inadequate roster behind him to win in the finals.

The Herb Kohlian philosophy would be to keep him and watch him leave for nothing or next to nothing. We must rise above our Herb Kohl instincts.

I wouldn't. He makes 6.3m and then has a QO of over 8m. Which has to declined. Imo you wait a year and hope to get him on a minimum contract.

I still believe in him but there's no value in taking a flier on him.

Baddy Chuck wrote:Honestly though I do think Chris Paul gets traded and the package he brings in is probably a lot less then the "second team all-nba" tag would dictate. Had a nice year for OKC and maybe most importantly stayed healthy which hasn't been a thing he's been able to do for a while now but I would probably say a nice little 5 month break probably could've been a big reason for that. OKC is going to lose a big piece in Gallinari, they let their coach go, SGA is primed to take over the lead guard role and they can easily move on from Paul right now after the season he had. To me it seems like they're in a prime spot to be highly motivated to make a move sooner than later with a 35 year old, oft injured player. Looking around the league I do think the Bucks will be able to put together a pretty competitive offer for Paul simply by having non-egregious fillers and some picks to move around and I'd be surprised if an offer was on the table that blew something like that away. Also, and maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I think Paul would want to go to a contender and for playing nice in OKC Presti might do him a solid.

This must be your longest post in realgm's history

But even though we have disagreed alot of times , I love reading your posts

I love how we keep talking about this "inadequate roster" as if the betting odds that just came out yesterday don't still have us as clear favorites to come out of the East.

Here’s a look at next season’s championship odds. The odds are provided by our partner, PointsBet.

Los Angeles Lakers +350
Los Angeles Clippers +450
Milwaukee Bucks +550

But I get it, no one self-hates quite like Bucks fans (maybe Packer fans?)

If we are about to trade 2 1st Round picks plus salaries for CP3 ... I would offer the same package to Houston for Harden , maybe adding one more.

3 1st Round Picks plus fillers for James Harden.

Bring D'Antoni and keep Bud for assistant coach (or trade him if he denies)

I am ALL in on that. That's the best chance Bucks win a Ring.
Shaq and Kobe were not friends too. But they both gave their best and won multiple Rings

Some team is probably still holding onto hope that Anthony Randolph will figure it out some day.

The Knicks really are the biggest dumpster fire in sports, its a good thing tho imagine how annoying the fans would be if their team wasn't humiliatingly bad most of their existence. Atlantic division has some real special fans, that's for sure.

No, we weren't. We were talking about him looking at the team during UFA.

that's incredible. vegas still believes in us?!?! i've waited all of my gambling life for an opportunity like this. some of us cashed in hard this year. it's like Vegas doesn't have any actual humans watching the games, they just plugged in the formulas and went off to drink martinis and screw hookers. meanwhile, i've now watched this Bucks team piss down it's leg for two straight playoffs and we are now entering a scenario where there is a KD/Kyrie/Levert team in the East to mix things up. We are going to win another 60 games and i am going to make another couple of thousand dollars betting against the Bucks in the playoffs.. It's going to be incredibly sad but i'll wipe my tears with cold hard cash.

Ah but he did figure it out, and one of the things he figured out is that there's more money and stardom for him in Madrid than in the NBA. He's also a pretty good player now!

You cleaned up in the 2019 playoffs betting against the bucks before the last 4 games? Seems like we blew out a lot of games and covered before that. And you were confident in Toronto in game 3 after the bloodbath that was game 2.

this year, yea that was easy.

If the Owners balk at paying CP3's 45 mil a year, I wonder if they would pay Gordon Hayward's 32 mil? He's expiring, right?
