I like Bogdan and I’d be happy to have him, but isn’t he kind of a worse version of Brogdon?

Nah. Not as strong defensively or driving to the basket. Different planet as a shooter.

The right move was to prioritize Brogdon over Middleton, trade for Bogdan, and still have some financial flexibility should other difference makers become available. Guessing the W/L record wouldn't have been impacted at all. Now we'll have to give up pick(s), probably Donte to get him, and have no flexibility going forward. That all said, like the idea of bringing him in.

I really think we need to take advantage of getting Buddy as well.

Come on bucks.

Middleton was incredible last year, and injury prone Brogdon got injured again. Middleton was the clear choice between the two.

Now, Bledsoe vs Brogdon is an actual discussion.

Ideal scenario could be more along the lines of what Indy did for us in that he says he wants to sign with us and then we just coordinate after the fact and not have to pay too high of a price. Of course matching the contract is needed though so we have to give someone up. Just saying a scenario like that could mean not having to give full 'value' like if it was a normal trade.

Just tell Vivek Ranadivé that Bledsoe was a back-to-back all defensive PG and maybe he'll bite.

Edit: If we somehow wound up getting Bogdan in a trade and not moving our pick and nabbing Tyrell Terry, I'm doing cartwheels. Imagine those two in the backcourt with Giannis, Middleton and Brook as the rest of the starters.

I wouldn't say worse. Just different. He's a superior shooter and creator/passer out of the pick-and-roll (less tunnel vision). Brogdon is more physical and a better defender. Though Bogdan is usually in solid position defensively and savvy enough to play passing lanes.

Here you go. I'm going to run this by the TWolves coach i know to see what he thinks. It feels fair to me. Then the Bucks go out and sign a DJ Augustine or Jeff Teague to be the backup PG.

Yeah I don't see that either. My hope is that it is all a smokescreen in the OKC negotiations for Paul.

Would feel really good about next year if we could get CP3 and Bogdan. No idea if it’s even possible.

I dont trust Horst and Bud to get it done this offseason. Bogdanovic is a nice player but not enough to get us over the hump or to convince Giannis to stay IMO. I hope Lasry asked him to write down 5 names that he wants to play with him

This. Bucks are pinched financially. Like to see some of you cap experts break down how to pull off a Bogdan S/T.

That they're interested in Bogdan makes me believe that they have some other big moves they're deliberating, because as others have said, unless you can get him on the MLE, it's tough to make the finances work. Don't know whether to be excited or terrified. Bogdan's a nice player and all, but is he worth really shaking things up for?

Middleton was great in the regular season. Again, inefficient and not a needle mover in the postseason. Gun to the head, Middleton for $178 mil vs Brogdon for $178 mil, have to pick one, yeah probably Midds, I don't know, tough decision. But that wasn't the choice presented to the front office last offseason. In fact, far from it. And now we're strapped and trying to figure out how to trade for a guy only making $9 mil. Guessing it will involve picks, plural, and our best young role player. It didn't have to be this way.

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

So bud **** himself again this year is out coached again this year doesnt make adjustments has terrible lineups minutes restrictions ....yet its horst fault.
Alot of you didnt question horsts moves when they were steamrolling to 70 wins it was brogdan who?
