Lord knows the package they're rumored to have offered (8th and 27th picks) won't get them to 1... but it may get them to 5/6.

I would rather stay at #8 and pick Vassel or Haliburton. And roll the dice with the 27th pick (or trade seconds and give cash consideration to move up a bit).

If only the draft were the last we'll hear about Wiseman.

If he does any good at all, and he should, because he's a good prospect, we'll be hearing about it constantly, for at least the next 3 years. Possibly longer.

I mean, how long has Luka been coming up more often than he should in topics? 2 years and counting, right?

Fixed.

3+ years on Luka

Fixed. Cause y’all was hyping him up since way before too in like every thread the same way it is now. So... pot meet kettle

Why would they select Wiseman if they weren't trading Mitch (which I agree that aren't trading him) instead of a PG or wing? Wiseman to Knicks is not happening IMHO.

Probably all depends on where they can possibly get Wiseman imo. Like if he just so happened to still be on the board at 8 I think the front office based on reports would find that too tempting to pass on and take him any way.. figure out fit later. But yeah we probably won’t be trading up for him and I doubt he last til 8 any way so....Wiseman being a Knick is a long shot

Melo's Wiseman to Knicks by trading Mitch dream: :D

Difference, most everyone stopped talking about Luka.

The Tatum talk continues. Every day.

It's ok. Just preparing everyone for the inevitable "All Wiseman, All The Time" that will be going on for the next 3,4,5 years.

If they really want to move up for the # 1 pick, I'd do 8, 27 and 38 this year and right to swap FRP in 2022. We'd be banking on the idea that the Wolves would be worse than us by than.

I wouldn't give them any unprotected future FRP's, especially next season. We're going to be lottery bound and next years class looks quite promising.

The TWolves want a ready now player, they don't want more draft picks. That's reason they would consider trading the #1 pick.

I just read that on WT. Makes sense since I'm sure they're trying to get back into the playoffs this year.

I'd still be interested in Charlotte's pick than if they really believe Lamelo, Edwards or Wiseman are franchise level players since one of them will still be there at 3.

I've started watching Wiseman highlight and the kid looks great to me. I still think if he has the ability to shoot the ball that he could play alongside Mitchell as a stretch 4 type of guy. Robinson is so versatile defensively that I believe that pairing could work.

I get shades of Chris Bosh with more athleticism watching Wiseman clips from his brief stint at Memphis. I wish there was a larger sample size of him playing, especially to see where his jumper is at, but the kid can dribble quite well for someone his size and I think if he really does have a midrange and or 3 point shot in his arsenal that him and Robinson could work together. I'd shift RJ over to the 3 and put Frankie in at the 2. Frank, Wiseman and Mitchell could end up making this team very formidable on the defensive end.

LOL i couldn't help myself! If the Knicks really are enamored with him (can't believe anything Berman says though,) than I was trying to figure out how him and Robinson could work in tandem. I really do think they can work together as part of a very large starting frontcourt.

With all that being said, I think some people are really minimizing how great MItchell can be. There's no way I'd trade him in any package to move up in this draft.

What the hell happened to his jumper?! It looked not even close to that during the season. I mean MAYBE it’s because it’s well beyond the arc and needed some extra juice but oooof

With the amount of energy he's putting into getting that shot off from the 3 point line, his legs are going to be shot by the 4th quarter.

Would he even be able to get that shot off if Mitchell was to guard him for an entire practice?
