I'm currently sitting in front of my TV, waiting for the countdown to end and the scrimmage to begin.

I feel desparate.

I watched 2 minutes of beggining and I realized why we suck. And no coach or GM is gonna change that without drafting and trading for better players.

Defensive play seems to be as tight as Boylen's lips during any of his pressers...

AK always looks so annoyed when he's talking to the media. I love it.

It was fun to watch the scrimmage. A few things I noticed.

First, it looked like a scrimmage and guys weren't going at it too hard. That said, I thought the rust was less evident than I expected. Zach, Coby, Lauri, WCJ, Hutch all looked about the same as I remembered. Coby sank a few clutch step-back 3's and made some nice passes. Zach penetrated with ease and had a nice block. Lauri made a couple 3's and looked fluid. WCJ seemed to be moving well. Hutch attacked the hoop nicely.

That was a whole lot of nothing for the most part.

Did notice Lauri is still weak sauce in the post. He has no clue what he's doing with his back to the basket. He ended up behind the hoop trying to make a move and then gets stripped by Zach.

At least he was hitting his 3s.

Maybe everyone (including Lauri) will finally get that he shouldn't be playing in the post. Not his strength. He has many strengths, he should play to them.

That was barely 10 minutes of basketball, but man do I miss it!

Some observations:

- Zach and Coby look FAST and their shots look buttery smooth. I think Coby would've continued that tear he was on if it wasn't for the pandemic. Zach was pretty much unstoppable given the defenders on our team. These two will be fun to watch.

- Lauri's shot looked better, but he's still hesitant posting up. He ended up getting stripped by Zach after thinking about it for a couple seconds (which allowed Zach to get in defensive stance). He was still mostly gravitating in the perimeter in the few minutes of play I saw.

- Wendell seemed more involved in the offense rather than solely used as a screener/garbage man.
