What kind of contract is Fournier going to get? Is there a difference between him and Bogdan that would justify what we'd have to give up in a S&T for Bogdan?

Goddamn some of you all are just searching for that Anthony Mason move aren't you?

Not super excited about Bogdan. He put up pretty good numbers while spending three years on a bad Sacramento team. He'd certainly be an upgrade at the 2, but I wouldn't want to pay him much more than what he's currently getting at today ($9 million average). He's not a great shooter, not all that efficient and just an OK defender.

At the same dollar amount, I'd rather have Buddy. I'd prefer Buddy at a higher dollar amount, too.

Well, he's obviously going to get paid - not because that's what he wants - but because he's a damn good player, and everyone knows he's a damn good player.

Well corona kind of clouds this since we have no idea what the cap is or what the penalties etc for going over the cap when every team is going to be over etc.
But anyway Lou Williams 3yrs/$24mil was a great deal but Bogdan at $17mil plus as a 6th man makes me cringe. If Bogdan is our starting SG who is he better than at that position in the East? I’ve been harping that our guard rotation is trash and Bogdan makes us better but if most playoff teams in the east aside from Philly have 2 or 3 guards that are better than Bogdan it’s hard form me to get excited about. I feel like we could add Tyler Johnson on a value contract giving up nothing and IF he stays healthy we are better defensively and if our offensive scheme doesn’t change not much worse offensively than giving up stuff for Bogdan. I don’t know, I can be talked into it at the right price I guess and if contracts take a huge dip this offseason then maybe it’s the right time to do it, but are players going to sign for more than 1 year this offseason? And if so I’m willing to give up practically nothing for him.

If Bogdan gets the quality of looks that Brogdan got and Hill gets, he'll hit half of them.

You also need more guys who can do it. The rest of the guys besides Mid and Wes are low 30s in spite shooting wide open catch/shoot. Korver is trash at everything else so I assume is retiring, either way he shouldn't be out there. The fact he was is evidence of how desperate they are for shooting.

Bogdan is a year older than Fournier, is he a better player? He’s 5 years older than Donte and I’m not even sure that I’d start him over DDV. $17mil?

I’d take Butler, Herro, and Dragic over Bogdan, probably even Duncan Robinson. Maybe even Nunn

Bogdan is significantly better than DDV.

Let's be real here.

Watch him for a minute.

He's a scorer, a shooter, a ballhandler and a great passer.

I'll need to learn more about his defense, but this guy would add a whole new element to our offense and relieve a significant amount of pressure off Khris and Giannis

Sure but DDV is 23 and Bogdan is 28. DDV is a significantly better defender. George Hill can do everything that Bogdan can with better defense so what element is Bogdan adding?

A wing who can shoot/dribble/pass? He’s a well rounded offensive player and we need more of that.

Yes we do and he’s an upgrade on Pat but George Hill is a better player than Bogdan. Are we clearing Hills salary to pay Bogdan twice as much?

I don’t know what the trade would be but Hill is going to be 35 by next postseason. Yes it would suck if we had to lose Hill to get Bogdan but I’m taking a prime version of Bogdan on the Bucks over a 35 yr old Hill.

I also think the way we’re evaluating these guys has to adjust for situation, what was George Hill on the Kings? What reason do we have to believe that Bogdan playing for a title contender next to an MVP and under a great (RS at least) coach wouldn’t also see a big leap?

Depending on where the big-man rotation is after any trades, I'd give Nerlens a call.

Hill looked cooked until he got here, this offense is tailor made for guys like Bogdan. It's not a huge leap to assume that Bogdan could put up numbers similar to Midds. I also don't understand the logic of not bringing a guy in because we have a guy that can do some of what he does already. Like there is a limit on having talented guys.

What about ol' John Henson!? He's reportedly been putting up 100s of 3pt attempts per day.

I'd give up DDV for Bogdan if that's all it took. We can grab another Tony Allen-type from the G-League.
