Hi mpharris

Givony thinks we should trade up for Lamelo. I’ll pass if it means giving up our Dallas pick.

Hey at 20 you can take a shot at McDaniels for sure at that point shoot for the stars if you want. I was talking about taking a risk on him in the lottery with better sure fire bets is all.

I could see him going in the lottery cause this draft is so weak. Somebody might just take the gamble on him and I wouldn’t blame them at all. If everything goes right with him, he’ll be like Ingram with some defense imo.

those are some lofty expectations. Ingram dominated in college and was a stand out. McDaniels didn't do anything warrant that comparison other than potentially have a similar frame. He's much more Knox in college then he was Ingram.

I actually think his shot looks even smoother now. His pull up jumper doesn’t look awkward to me. He’s not creating much space of his step back though. But I def see some improvement imo.

He has looked a little better. I think he's a good bet to figure things out. Still my guy at #8 if Hayes is off the board (although they both could be gone).

Update From Hawksguy whom I tend to believe but take it as face value...
* Knicks are active on the trade market and FA market.
* want to build a competitive team while NOT trading future assets.
* Open to flipping everyone xcept Mitch or R.J.
* Have a soft spot for Frank because of Thibs

Not a expectation. I said IF everything goes right. The difference between him and Knox is that he can hit nasty jumpers off the dribble, drive to the rim and shown flashes on defense. Knox can’t do neither.

Okongwu drops to 8 and Boston calls wanting him, offers their three 1sts in exchange for the 8....do you do it?

Knicks get hypothetically

14 Hampton
26 Smith
27 Bane
30 Jones
38 Reed

or possibly others if you prefer there's so many that are intriguing.

Trade 8 to add 3 others 1sts for a total of 5 picks from 14 to 38... do you do it?
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Kira is still my guy but Haliburton wouldn’t be the worst option. I guess I can live with him.

I don't even mind Kira either. Would be good if they go with him too. Just have Haliburton a little above.

I am sure the Hawk's guy has some sources, but it seems like he is mostly just reading the tea leaves and covering all the bases especially with a team like the Knicks.

I would do it. But I dont think Boston is too sold about trading up to add another rookie Center. They already have Time Lord.

At #14, I am hopeful to get Kira. If Kiras was gone, I would pick PatWill or Nesmith. But I think our FO would get Maxey.

Smith, Bane and Jones are terrific options to these late FRP. But they could be gone before. I would consider trading the #30 to move up a little to get Smith or Bane at around #20. We could get a good PG at #38 (or buying an earlier second round). There are many good options. Terry, Jones, Malachi, Winston, Riller, and Pritchart.

I don't think he said that. I think he said they were offered a all-star for John Collins.

I could see a Ben Simmons for John Collins type offer being accepted if Philly can someone pull off a CP3 trade.

CP3/Collins/Embiid sure fits a lot better than Simmons/Embiid
