Re: Updates on former Wolves
My eyes got big when I saw Pek was only 34 too. That's crazy, if healthy he could still be in the league putting up good numbers.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

I feel like for a second round pick, Pek definitely outkicked his coverage, and he made some of the games during that long dark depressing stretch watchable. He retired young and reasonably healthy.
Agree, except he retired early because his feet or leggs were not healthy.
I loved having Pek. For once in our history we were the bullies rather than the team getting bullied.

he was Rubio's teddy bear
He got angry like three times in his career here and made the opponent pay. Otherwise he was petting bunnies.

Tell that to the many opponents who talked about coming away from games against Pek battered and bruised. Battling him was like throwing themselves at a brick wall.

this is when GSW was average or just above average
Spoiler:
One of his really "strongly played" games.
We couldn't get full games like that often. He had soft games. But he did make a great fit with Love/Rubio. Would have really been nice if he could have stayed healthy.

Thanks for the link. Man it was fun watching him play seeing the bodies go flying and bouncing off him.

Re: Updates on former Wolves
Not an update, but does anyone remember the game Tyus Jones had against a Lebron James I think when he was with Cleveland? James had just kicked in his typical higher gear to stop the Wolves from going on a run, catching Cleveland up and culminating with an easy score over Tyus or steal from him or something. Tyus seemed to take it personally and on ensuing possessions he went wild and I think even slammed over James once(?). I remember how much fun that was to see and then instantly wondering...why don't we see this gear and offensive aggression from Tyus more often. Need more players willing to show this desire more often and in more grames throughout the seasons. I remember a few rare times Dieng would elevate the gear as well. The rest of the time, we just got average role play.

These videos always just make me miss Rubio.
I wanted to see a five out with Rubio surrounded by the great shooter KAT is and 3 others.

Does anyone know what happened to Cole Aldrich?
I red he retired, is it true?

"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

I dunno... I love Dario, his passing, toughness, shooting and heart, but dude can't finish at rim, can't jump, and can't defend.

Haha, I guess it was. I am super excited.
Though I will always wonder what could have been if Thibs did not break up the Rubio, LaVine, Wiggins, Towns core. I trust that LaVine and Towns become what they currently are, but I believe Rubio would have done wonders helping Andrew become more over the last three years.
Now, hopefully this comes true:
We do not trade him, he plays out the 2 years, we sign him to backup pg $ until he retires a as a Timberwolf before he goes to play back in Spain for awhile.
