i dont plan to pay an extra salary slot Bish - so if mph doesnt pick 3 and you print SKIPPED...how do i insure that my pick is slotted 4th in salary?

It isn't too difficult a process. If you want the fourth overall player picked send me a PM with a list of players and tell me you want the highest rated player when the fourth pick is up. If mph is skipped and two players have been selected already, then you need to send me a two person list telling me you want the fourth pick. That way you will not pay any extra salary.

this has nothing to do with you bro...i got screwed last year and i had to do 5 trades because i picked directly after the "skipped" print appeared. I just want to know how i can avoid this in the future or with one of my other picks...

I remember the convos we had but don't remember the exact situation. However, if you moved ahead one slot in the second round, the most you would have had to pay extra was $1. Not sure why that would've required 5 trades to rectify?

If it was a second round pick like you said then it definitely was only $1. There is no time anytime in the second round that is more then a dollar from one pick to the next. Not last year and not this year. $1 is the most you would have had to pay extra for moving up. Feel free to look.

seems like a lot more work for everyone else then just saying if its your slot you pick is the money that slot requires.

Did Caps response clear things up? It’s just a pm bro, but I don’t see this being an issue.

I don't want to send 2 players. I want to be logged in during my time stamp to make the decision then which my timeslot suggests (that is why I have a timeslot). I consider myself pretty reasonable.

I have trades lined up depending on who is available. I shouldn't have to make the concessoin because I am skipping someone and I shouldn't have to pay more than my a lotted spot. I shouldn't have to put someone on the EL because someone is sitting on there pick.

And people keep saying I should get the 2nd pick I should be happy...maybe I don't want the 2nd pick. I want the 3rd pick and I also don't want to be held hostage to have to worry about two teams behind me saying I will take on the extra pick and skip me. That seems absolutely ridiculous.

what im suggesting doesn't negatively effect anyone. It just means I can properly use my 2 hours just like everyone else without worrying about what I have to trade down the line to make a selection and not have one of my prospects on the EL. But I will drop it even though this just confuses me that we can't amend what seems like a layup.

do you really want me to demonstrate and explain it? because i can...I have done over 100 trades in 14 months...you have been on the other end denying me because I was $1 short...Its not the $1 that stops you its the GM's who refuse to take on said contract that stops you and then you have to work your way around it or maybe other deals that were in place fall apart...you're underestimating the domino effect and how difficult it can be to navigate trades...

I felt that i just asked a simple question to be honest...everyone always says send a list of player...I dont function that way...I may have two guys i want but if theyre taken then maybe i want to use my time to figure something else out...

Maybe I'm not saying it right? This is only supposed to be a good thing for the people down below that get the opportunity to move up if they want it. If there is a player they really want who luckily has fallen to them because another GM falls asleep, then they have to pay a very tiny bit extra for him. Or they can wait and pick when they want. Send a list now if you want...If you have pick 60 and want to send in a 60 man list, feel free. I'm really trying to make this as easy as possible?
