The celts IMO are not interested in dipo. I think they would be more interested in Bledsoe with kemba going out. Bledsoe is 1/2 the money Kemba is and that money can go to smart. But no way do we trade hayward for an expiring dipo. If we want Bjelica that can be a separate deal with scrubs and the late 1st

More so if Milwaukee has already drafted for Sacramento, and the last tie up is Bogdan agreeing to a contract, why wouldn’t his agent say “$20m? Make it a max or we walk and you’ve wasted your draft pick in Milwaukee and burned a bridge where no one will negotiate with you again”.

I don’t know that Boston wants to lock in Bledsoe as their 3rd PG behind Kemba and Smart and add his salary to the books in future years when Tatum’s and Brown’s extensions hit, too.

The value of Haywrd the more effecient offensive player and better passer vs Dipo the better defender is very debatble, Hawyward was a signifigently better player last season, they are both expiring. I would not add incentive if I were to do that from Boston and I don't think Bjelica is worth 14 and 26. I think hayward has slighty more value then Dipo, outside of Dipo's best year hawyard has had better stats. he is also taller. I would not do this trade for Boston.

I think Hayward has a significantly higher floor but he's more expensive and older. Dipo has a higher ceiling, (He's younger and was a better player at his peak), but it's a complete unknown if he will ever reach that again while Hayward is at minimum probably good for what he put up in Boston.

The Celtics have enough star power to where a third option Hayward is good enough, why risk the downside for the slightly higher upside that may never come into fruition. They don't need Hayward to be an All-NBA player, just to get back as close as he can to the Utah days.

From an Indy perspective, I would really have to love the player at #14. I know he may never get back there, but in a vacuum, I would rather take the chance on Dipo recovering back to All-star form versus Bledsoe or Hayward. Even if he wants out after, he's worth more at the trade deadline than today, where we can expect long-term money or a mediocre pick.

Hayward is worth both without the 26th. But I can't see ainge coming off both unless he gets something more than a couple of 32 you PF and bledsoe coming back. The board is about imaginary trades but until hayward signs an new deal, or at least until ainge believes he won't sign a new deal he will likely be staying and Kemba leaving, Once ainge thinks he does not want to extend on a new deal , then he will be traded for scraps. Like Powell wright etc and the 18th/26. Pretty much nothing for him but taking on smaller salary.

Overpay for Bogdon, would just cut everyone out and take Dipo for ourselves. Bogdan is getting overvalued with the big pay raise he’s getting and the fact he’s a one way player.

That is a huge overpayment for Bogdanovic. The difference between him and Bledsoe is not DDV+24. I would consider a trade like this if DDV is taken out. Also would prefer if we didn't have to take Parker.

I look at it that the only reason they are trading him is to get the salary savings, they don't pay a premium by adding the 26th. you can't trade the value of a bledsoe and bjelica and expect the value of a Hayward in return normally, you only get that deal because the celts would want the savings. You don't get to add a first rd pick on top of the talent value differential.

What is this based on? There are teams that would trade value for one of the best defending pgs despite the fact that he doesn’t produce in the playoffs.
